Noticed that the Kangas lost three players (McKercher, Fisher and Ford) to injury this week and Sheezel has been under an injury cloud. Tough game for both clubs last week.

Was at the game and sitting front row. Was definitely one of the more physical games of footy I’ve seen in a while. We were made to earn every possession.

Surprising as it may sound, felt like finals level
of physicality. Will set us up well for later in the year.

I don't think anyone actively cheered on the injuries, particularly to TDK.

Was more just reveling in Xerri the physical beast and the path of destruction he can cause.

The injuries were definitely unfortunate.
there are def norf nuffies revelling in the injuries and dirty tactics. low class club and supporter base

They should have an afl doctor look into these things and if they feel someone should come off then ask the club to get the runner to get mckay in this instance off… us getting reprimanded when there is no protocol in place is dumb
Forgoing the AFL doctor allows them to keep holding the stick. Wouldn't want to have the possibility of investigating the processes of their own staff or subject to liability from that.

You obviously missed the post on your Board where 1 poster wished that Xerri would have ‘taken out’ TDK & the amount that of likes that poster received. 😡

There were other posts as well.

Disgraceful & extremely poor form.

Our Board will NEVER allow anyone wishing injuries on opposition players!

Well… I feel that Cuningham’s latest setback just finished his career at the top level. As I said in the game thread, his talent up the wazoo, but a body made of paper mache.
That's not papier-mâché, it's elastoplast.

Also, I really like typing papier-mâché... :p

Don't understand why everyone is upset about the Harry reprimand.

AFL said we broke the rules.

We said it wasn't our fault, our docs were busy.

AFL says OK. You broke the rules, but it was out of your control. No punishment this time.

Whats the big deal?

Plenty of reasons to be frustrated with the AFL. This isn't one of them.

The AFL as usual appears to want to be appear to being proactive. The idiots couldn’t organise a piss-up in a brewery.

Because it is Carlton, no other reason.

Context Ferris, context!!!

Sure on a simple level it’s easily put aside but the consistent theme is that we are often up against an antagonistic AFL.

Where do I start, the fixture, the NGA zoning, the crackdown on f/s drafting, the one man band MRO.

I might just be shaking my fists at clouds here but I think under the circumstances a “please explain” for Harry was heavy handed as we took him off as soon as our docs had reviewed the vision and the mitigating factors were obvious.

Unless the AFL change the rules and allow umpires to halt play if they see a head knock and do a blood rule type intervention, most players will stay on the ground.

Tom Morris reporting that the AFL will be making further enquiries with the Club following Harry’s late withdrawal from Friday’s game. Optics would’ve suggested that this was expected from the AFL

Harry’s withdrawal looked so bad as well
