Hell of an effort by TDK playing with a fractured foot and a collapsed lung.

Our injury record this year has been terrible

TDK - big loss, wishing you a speedy recovery King. Lucky we have great cover in Pitto and we got the result with TDK on one leg last night (McKay stepped up exactly how we need him to).

I've been disappointed by TDK the last couple of games - wonder if the foot/leg issues have been lingering for a while? He is no brute but he does need to get stronger. His growth area is to become capable of having a monster game while also stopping the opposition ruck from impacting heavily (e.g. when he played his bro among others in that hot streak, he was almost BOG but so were his opponents).

That is ultra impressive how he played given the circumstances.

Whether we should have played him is another thing, but I guess we were desperate. Question is how much damage was done by playing on or would it have made a difference.

The lung part is obviously shit luck though.

We have great cover in Pittonet as the number 1 ruck. It sucks that TDK is going to miss the next 6 weeks, but the timing of it isn’t the worst either. There are 5 weeks rounds + the pre-finals bye. It would have been worse if this happened in August.

Can we not devolve to stuff like this please. Injuries suck, attempting to blame bad luck on opposition is distasteful.

How TDK hurt his foot is irrelevant, him getting healthy and back is all that matters

I'm not stressed about TDK injury in terms of our capacity in upcoming games. We have Pitto, and he will do well. Just want TDK to be right for his sake, as well as finals. What a warrior and champion...
