Love Nige's courage and commitment. Sadly, another who's body just hasn't been cut out for top level footy. Injuries killed him at North as well.
We haven't had much luck recruiting 2nd hand KPD's (Oscar, Lewis and now SDurds)
Might be time to get a young one at the National Draft or anywhere.

Harsh news for Sam Durdin... probably curtains for his career in navy blue now unfortunately.

There's a reason why they all came cheap.

If Lewis could play at the level he does when Weitering is sidelined it would solve all of our issues.

Honestly, think we're a Josh Gibson like trade away from a true dynasty. Grab one late in the draft, see if we can nab one in trade.

It's our most pressing need now that Owies has developed his kicking to the level it is now and a combination of Fog, Mots and others cover the other slots.

anyone else constantly scanning twitter for the latest news/rumours for "sam walsh" or " walsh carlton"?
No point. If there's anything wrong with him, it will be kept quiet until the team is named and then he will be a surprise late injury update.

Good clip/ coverage, thanks.

Interesting choice of words - Use of “accidentally” when ref Xerri stepping on TDK’s foot…. Is that the journo inserting that word ……. ?
They always like to make accusations in the softest way possible, so there aren't any repercussions.

Is it really carnage bb.

I get where you are coming from as it looked that way on the weekend.

Our number 1 ruck is out for the H+A season. Our number 3 ruck is also out for a similar period.

Our second best midfielder with a history of back injuries was moving like Joe Biden after the game.

Our second best key forward took two concussion tests.

Another KPD is out for the rest of the year.

Our best winger was subbed out with a foot injury (cleared? yay!)

There’s players not listed on the injury update - like usual - who are under duress - Kennedy, Weitering … a five day break isn’t great.

As I say, I stand by the comment.

Sad for Durdin, but he isn't up to the level. Was on the bench fairly early in the game getting his hammy worked on and struggled to break into a powerwalk for the rest of the game. Surprised we didn't keep Kemp in as back up and run with Weiters, Durds and Kemp.
