Everyathlete ever if they had their back scanned would see bulging disks. In fact most people do. It's just what happens to humans.

It's pretty normal. Likely means they weren't rested enough when it popped up though. Not one you prevent easily but one that wouldn't be an issue with good rest and strengthening around it after the rest.
