I cant see eddie letting go of next years salary from ADL...it makes more sense for ADL to pay portion of next years salary and he gets to blues. Its still a good deal for ADL because they are unlikely to play him in the seniors. Therefore it would be a way for them to cut their losses.

Jon Patton was on a big contract at the Giants as well, so the Giants will have freeded up some cap space there.

The Giants have either been more lucky or shrewd than the Suns in that although they havs lost quite a few more players back home, they have yet to lose a legit star like Lynch, Prestia or even O'Meara at this stage (although i am confident Setterfield will get there)

They are getting another valuable trade asset and or pick this year thanks to Dodo.

They will get a cheap pick for Patton and turn it into something decent, just you wait and see.

I don't really understand the supposed one year clause he has on his contract and how that would work in a trade but I would think it would make his acquisition easier than a Papley type situation. Wasn't Devon Smith a GWS player. He is as good as those on that list, just plays in a worse team.
