As has been mentioned, it would count as part of his contract and towards the TPP - so why not just increase the $$$ and let him choose his own car?!?
It may be a masterstroke and the point of difference in negotiations, but from afar it seems very old school and very strange.

My guess is that hyandai give out a few cars... Kreuzer drove around in one. Good chance they have offered Saad the same sponsorship deal.
