To clarify we have ITK posters like tencentpiece, Forty3, OR who essentially only post rumours, so we know exactly what we're reading. There are other regular posters who get info every now and then, but they make it very clear if what they are posting is a rumour or just an opinion. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Yes I would mind. I can post in any fashion I wish and people can believe or interpret my posts the way they like. Some posts have been backed by a source whilst others are not. I’m sure you can figure things out for yourself.

Sorry, but no way anyone knows exact picks that are traded yet. Only first round hypotheticals have been thrown up within afl. I like your idea but.

I understand their talent levels, but #7 and our future first for Oliver, Saad and Narkle is reflective of yet another organisational failure. That price needs to be seriously knocked down to make it worth our while.

At the asking price, I just would not bother with Oliver. I do not believe for a second that Saad commands more than a second rounder, while Narkle is where you swap third rounders or throw them your 4th.

I know people feel like we shouldn't keep going back to the well of the draft, but I'd rather focus on another way of acquiring Saad and Narkle than tossing away our chance at some of the players in that upper cusp of the draft.

I'd also prefer not to see a fire sale on our young midfield stocks.

It's not hard to believe Oliver has made an approach to us. No different from Wines last year.

It's known we're after mids and have money and picks to burn. Of course we'd be one of the first suggested from player managers.

Won't change there being an impediment from it being player not club driven though. Dees won't trade Oliver, anymore than Bombers were trading Daniher or Swans were trading Papley without him.

Wines and Papley are recent examples of the lack of benefit for clubs to readily grant a move. Zero incentive for Dees.

Would hope we've learned from past mistakes, and don't waste resources on fruitless pursuits. We risk dropping the ball elsewhere.

Every year someone comes along and posts vague tidbits as if they are from credible sources. Most of the time they are probably from some piss head at the local. Your job is to decide whether a rumour bringer is potentially legit or talking total shit.

Usually a quick look through their posting history will set you on the right track.

Yeah, I have and it didn't help unfortunately. I did find a couple of posts by Blue__Balls from last years' off-season which I feel is pretty spot on though:

Ebert rotates through but is an inside mid that's playing Hf a lot for them. His best role is still inside.
