The last few years of trades/free agents haven't done much for us thus far. Reckon we need to concentrate on our club, development and coaching before worrying about recruits.
We could get cerra and turn him into a sh*t footballer within a month at our current rate.

excellent retention is because we over pay and put zero expectations on performance ..Who improves when they come to us ???I disagree. We got Betts, Pitto and Martin who have been important. We didn't give up much, if anything, for them.
We need to focus on both. We have had excellent retention of players the past 3-5 years and it's clear that we have a few younger players with currency that we will likely be offloading this off season.
Martin? One game every 4 or 5 weeks?I disagree. We got Betts, Pitto and Martin who have been important. We didn't give up much, if anything, for them.

Hang on a minute.
Are you honestly saying that you don’t want Hodge at the club?
One of the best leaders in modern football, someone who demanded so much of his players and was as courageous as they come?
Someone who went to Brisbane and played a massive part in turning them from where we are now into a legit contender?
You can hand on heart say, that after watching that spiritless and demoralising loss today we don’t need someone with his level of inspiration as an assistant coach?
With all due respect, that opinion is just baffling.
He would certainly rough up some pea hearts on the playing list and club admin.Into Hodge in a big way.
Twin towers?Into Hodge in a big way.
Really makes me wonder what happens behind the scenes. Last year Kouta mentioned that he wanted to volunteer at the club and it was stated that he wasn’t necessary. Not saying that Kouta is Hodge level leadership but by God to pass up his opinion on training standards or personal preparation for our midfielders is baffling.Hang on a minute.

He coached from the half back line for 4 flagsI just don’t want another untried coach, that’s all.
Fev was a problematic personality, but since COVID we have lost Diesel and Sav Rocca due to soft cap cuts.Fev with goal kicking etc.
It came from Kouta’s mouth in a Mike Sheehan interview.some rumours are more equal than others. Rumour bringers even more so.
Thought Hodge is happily living in Brisbane now. Would be hard to entice him to move back to Victoria.Into Hodge in a big way.

Martin? One game every 4 or 5 weeks?
Betts? Really?
Pitto backup ruckman as our number 1 ruckman.....
