Judd most likely checked out because all he could see in front of him was a sh*t truck..
Judd was Football Director right? Did an amazing job. Judd was nothing but a board puppet designed to appease the masses. He's essentially a business guy who just happened to be a great footballer. Totally disinterested.

The Lyon/Voss rumour was mentioned on SEN about half an hour ago, a caller’s son works with a ‘club great’ who told him

The clip they played of Ross and his recent interaction with Leigh Matthews suggests 100% he'll be coaching again.

Also from Ross's Sunday rub discussion he understands that Clarko is the big dog everyone is chasing.

Comes across as one of the major proponents of the Hollywood mentality at the club. Our players have largely done sh*t fu** all and seem enthused by it.
Yep - Fish & Gibbons are the two biggest culprits. Cripps too, but at least he has runs on the board. It doesn't help when he is best mates with these types, however. If Fisher does remain at the club, he needs the pre-season of his life and if he doesn't lift his defensive game, needs a long stint in the 2s. Before the Power game, he has laid 12 (!!) tackles for the season (in 8 games).

I agree. Too much ego FIGJAM with Fisher especially.

I hear ya. I was getting kicked out of uni when I was 18.

Managed to turn things around in my early 20s and like you am now running my own team of professionals.

Problem is AFL can't wait for these kids to mature in their 20s and 30s and end up turning their lives around.

Every kid who gets drafted has talent. It's a cut-throat business. Someone has to get cut and you aren't doing yourself any favours if you don't have the application/hunger.

Obviously you do your best to motivate and cultivate these kids' potential. But if it's not there, it simply isn't good enough unless the talent is so elite you can make allowances. And even then, that can be destabilising to the club to make those exceptions.

I have no idea about Ben's situation, but in general... If you don't want it enough, you won't make it afl level.

To write your bigfooty jokes? :tongueoutv1:

If you're referring to the faux 'ins and outs' post, then I must admit I can't comprehend it - how is one meant to parse this? 3-4 incoming coaches referred to?

Reads more like 'stuff thrown at a wall', rather than a rumour.
He has Intel, but speaks in riddles.

I believe he is suggesting Clarko or Ross as the head coach is very much in the works with the others coming on in other Footy dept. Roles.

Zac Fisher must truly be hella quick to have shat in so many people's cereal today.

ins and outs . . .

(with Clarkson still needing a ‘fitness test’)

In:
R Lyon (1 - 2 weeks)
N Buckley (test)
J Leppitsch (managed)
A Cerra (5 - 7 weeks)
P Ladhams (5— 7 weeks)
S Silvagni (long term)

Out:
D Teague (indefinite)
B Lloyd (managed)
B Stanton
D Amos
Z Fisher
D Picks
Apart from Fisher, although to be honest i'm not going to die on a hill for him, i'd love this.

This is my thoughts 2019 Cripps was elite
2020 was spent dropping weight and being more athletic. Game was still very contested and thus he lose part of his main strength

2021 was spent putting all the size back on to become that contested beast only for AFL to change to rules last minute to speed the game up.

I have a feeling 2020 Cripps would have been great this year

sounds like excuses
