Going back through his post history he's said Oliver is not coming, or won't happen or we're not talking to him 7 times in the last couple of weeks.

AJS, are you sure you're source is correct on this one as there are a few other ITKs who have said there have definitely been discussions at least? Or is your source just saying they don't think its likely to eventuate to anything?

Phillips a seriously good option though. If we miss out on Wines or Oliver, Phillips has to be the next target.

It is much more possible than some might think that both Wines and Oliver are very keen on coming to Carlton.

We can’t accommodate or trade for both; so there are sensitivities in negotiations and timing. Saad has complicated this (in a good way I think).

If the club could pick only one, who would be better of the two?

The Oliver camp has been on the front foot recently while Port are still in finals.

I’d take Oliver over Ollie everyday of the week, Ollie goes missing in every game I watch of Port.
Clayton is at the coal face every single stoppage and impacts every contest he’s involved in.
Ollie, a better kick for goal and better around goals in general play.
