Big Footy have implemented some weird code where if you mention a players full name you get some list of stats that's takes up huge real estate on the App that you have to scroll and scroll through. How annoying!

So until that is fixed can we all as a group agree to call players by their Cricket 04 Names.

I.e I'm really excited that Zach William is joining us and Adem Sadd
In the past it was good watching Lex Justalinko Truce Dowell and Cross Jidd among others .............

Sooner they get Jack out the better. Just a messy bloody distraction. Ben shouldn't have been brought in in the first place. Never looked remotely up to rigours of AFL. Jack great endeavour but not a great footballer. Serviceable. All this legacy nonsense, just draw a line under it. Get what we can for him and everyone is a winner. Cant be easy on him either and that will never change. Regardless it will always be a binary response. It is because he is/is not a silvagni. F*ck playing under that cloud. Could play a more central role at a rebuild. If I was him take a long contract at North, take a pay day and forge his own career. Could be the making of him and good luck to him if it pays off. That versus not playing 1's next year at Blues... Simple equation.
I'm usually all for doing what's best for the bottom line and be pragmatic in life and in general. It is a an uncommon instance that I wouldn't utilise this school of thought but I believe just turfing out silvagni for a pick would not be good for the fabric of the club and this a net negative overall in the bigger picture. I just feel like a modicum of respect or extra respect should be given to the heritage and let him fizzle out if need be rather than turf out. All just my opinion only though.

That's what I find strange, they are hard to find, so Geelong have decided they need two? Is Hawkins and Cameron in the same forward line, even going to work?
Yeah. Both are mobile and good by hand and foot. Cameron probably improves because Hawkins takes the largest defender. Cameron overpowers the next biggest, unless it’s Weibot!

It becomes a lot more compromised as you start to get towards the mid-late end of the first round.

There's really only one, maybe two bids expected in the top 10 prospects, so #7 selection isn't compromised too much.

If we find another player of similar quality to Saad then we should trade it. If not, stay high in the draft and get it done with 2 x second rounders.
But we only have one? Hello trade week!

Note Brisbane have 16 & 17 now they're out instead of 18 & 19.
7 & 45 could be fair.

7 will get pushed back to 8-9 on draft night.

16 and 17 will get pushed back into the 20's.

I'm still not convinced that sort of deal is worth it unless we know we're getting another player through the door during trade week.

2 x 2nd's for Saad with something coming back.

I don't know what's going on but I didn't write this:

Why would anyone actually be pining over BSilvagni?
He showed nothing, cared little and was ousted as he should have been.
If we feel he has any chance at all, we can rookie him.....but that won't happen.
But you have now, which only proves I can tell the future.

Also, LOOK OUT!

Does this mean Teague wants Crouch?
Its not just all about what Teague wants. There needs to be a list strategy in place. Cats were rumoured to be offering Crouch a 450k/yr for 4 years. Crows would threaten to match that and force you to trade for overs. I'm still wanting to take Pick 7 to the Draft.

If Jones or Weitering go down, it would force Levi to the backline ( J9nes and Levi 30+)

Then we would have to consider playing TDK and Pittonet in the say side, which is far from ideal

Jack has the height ish, but has no leap and lacks speed

Marchbank's body work is poor, can't stay on the park

Macreadie could be anything, can't stay on the park

McGovern is 191

Hope doesn't cut it
This is exactly why you hang onto Pick 7 at all costs for Cox.

Gotta hand it to the Cats...lost Tim Kelly who was a gun mid for them yet are in the Grand Final and now are able to transfer his money to Jeremy Cameron.

Just goes to show no single player is bigger than the club and losing 1 gun player doesn't mean you're screwed...Hawks won three premierships after Buddy left, Doggies after Griffen their captain bailed.
And they got the Kelly deal done really early, no drama or drag out. Just did the right thing by the players knowing it gets paid forward. Props to them.

I reckon Crouch would be the easiest player to walk through the PSD. Absolutely no chance Adelaide take him back.

If we only had to pay $450k to bring him in, I'd consider taking the chance. Just let his manager know that we're not willing to trade for him.
