Possibly later yeah, pick 47 would be a pretty fair trade I’d have no problem handing that over for him, i liked some of things he could do in his draft year his speed and goal sense are promising got some tricks... what’s your thoughts on him? We really need a young small forward to take over from Eddie atm not many names trade wise have popped up...

Think you just missed my edit :p

He's had a couple of 4-goal games, which I hadn't recalled. Certainly has the potential to really swing a game, but can also be a bit of a non-entity - understandable for a young small forward.

I think he's the "type" we'd look at. Someone who applies good pressure and can hit the scoreboard from limited opportunity.

At risk of being a bit presumptuous, you would think he'd like the idea of learning from Eddie Betts. They have some really obvious similarities in their game style, and I'd be incredibly surprised if they didn't already have a bit of a connection.

Cameron was the target of some horrible online racism last year and called it out, and given how vocal Eddie has been in that space you'd assume he would have reached out at the time and probably maintained some ongoing contact.

Say GWS get 16 and 13 (or whatever) from Geelong. What if we offered 7 for 16+ Ian Hill?

7 ends up netting us Saad and Hill. Two speedsters at either end of the ground.

Possibly the only way #7 gets split up if we don’t have another big fish that requires #7 and more, he’s a very talented kid the type we need, how gettable is he? doubt GWS let him go...
more than happy to trade for him...

Kennedy has been a bit underwhelming but see no issue with Setterfield. Both can play. Just a question as to whether Kennedy is the right fit for us.

Caldwell will be a gun. If we don't go after him it's our loss

Kennedy has had his moments, though there must be some thinking that he isn't the right fit. Given we he hasn't signed a new contract yet or is it just, he is one of the few that might be of some value, that we are willing to get rid of?

Caldwell will be as good if not better than Jack Steele, I think we had a half hearted stab at Steele, love us to have a go at Caldwell if our other rumoured plays don’t pan out.

As in nominating Campbell? not sure they would need too some very good KPP available, kids you build a future 10yr spine with...
I think they'd be crazy not to bid on him at #2 if Sydney hold 3... he's a gun and ready to go.

Western Bulldogs assistant coach Daniel Giansiracusa is the AFL Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year !
TOP 3
1. Daniel Giansiracusa
2. Nigel Lappin - Geelong
3. Luke Power - Carlton

“Essendon is yet to be told what Brisbane’s contract is for Daniher, despite reports of a five-year deal worth around $600,000 a season.”

Funny how no media report has quoted less than $800-900,000 for Saad to Carlton. It’s so obvious what the media are doing and this just proves it.

Until now they’ve finally started reporting true figures ie: 3 mil 5 years which apparently is consistent with what * offered.

well done to luke.

any slimmer of hope for a good small forward?

I still think we should look at Ben Ronke.

Haven't heard much regarding him.

GC and GWS additions. Just a guess

Australia’s population is 3 Million people more than when the expansion clubs came in, with 791,000 participants in football leagues in 2011 and 1.7M in 2019.

There is a lot bigger pool now than when the expansion teams joined the comp.
