I was today years old when I first heard a sport described as 'too goddamn whizzy'.
Talking about chess yeah?
we first need to ascertain what "today years old" means, my friend..........

Ok, that was my memory of it, what's the truth then? I don't mind if you can disprove what I said by providing facts but please, simply saying 'not true'. means nothing.
Actually, I remember them making a big deal about it directly after the 2007 premiership so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t after 2 or 3 premierships. It was after the first.

Just as it reads. Not overly cryptic. Just means I've learnt something for the first time or never heard it before.
Basically just never heard a sport referred to as too goddamn whizzy. I do like it though.

Yeah, I'm happy with that, the second was so close to the first, I wasn't 100% sure. That really doesn't make the premise of what I said untrue, they did agree to play for less. Thanks for the correction.

Everything's fine. People playing around with sayings is a) reminding me of my mother, and b) giving me a headache.

Thank you for asking. :)

You really should remain unphased by such things. d4cnu7n-4e25cd44-71cb-4260-8cf7-aaa3d33c830a.jpg

Looking at our list we are lacking this year a developing KPD and KPF.. also list wise we need too adress another developing Ruckman or Ruck/Forward Small forwards and a Small Defender...
Bit perplexing in a season that it hard to develop in games of virtual 12 a side in scratch matches that Ben Silvagni was not allowed to get a go to develop next season in these type of areas. He also got injured too, so one year on list and a second in Co-Vid year is real stiff for players in his situation on any club list this season.

In any case you have got the areas totally correct of where any roles for future that will need to address for list management this draft or next.
Supplemental Selection Period I think starts on January 6. Also next season probably have some mid-season drafts so the ruck forward area I feel sure we do not need to be a priority at the draft. Pittonet, De Konning and Casboult is enough to get through 2021, but Casbout will be gone before too long so another back up mature ruck in mid season draft probably the go in 2021.

Interesting. He is def a good enough runner. Not sure he has the step/change of direction. They did trial him there during the year in the scratch matches but not sure how well it went?
Hope not as well, gives me the impression that maybe we are trying to invent /squeeze him in a position that doesn’t truely imo suit him or help our structures with how the position should be played... For me quick attacking two way runners are essential, has some great qualities as a floating defender but lacks the essential tools that the modern game requires for a wingman...

Tough year particularly for the developing kids, list reduction doesn’t help, looking forward we definitely have some list holes that need restocking... a little concerned with the lack of developing true KP bookends coming through the reserves just in case, can’t get them all in one year no doubt we’re hopefully going to draft and trade in certain positions over the next few seasons...

Some players have acceleration polson Betts
Some have top line speed Williamson don’t think he has much acceleration
Zach and Saad have both some teams don’t have any some have one we now have two
We will need to adapt our game plan and the team in the off season to use these weapons effectively

He has plenty for a 190 cm player. Good burst and fair side-step.

There's some real speed around the group now, with Williams, Saad, Fisher, Cuningham, Williamson, Honey, Martin, Dow, Philp.

Interesting watching Mitch Cleary comments. Same as my information. We are interested in 1-2 players, both smaller names than Williams and Saad. I haven’t heard anything about Wines, Oliver, Merrett Etc.

The 2 lesser names were Lachie Fogarty and Jack Graham. The club had many other discussions. Austin and the team executed the plan well. Disappointed to miss Graham but gave it a really good shot. 3 out of 4 a terrific outcome. The approach to securing Saad was superb.
