Player: I got concussed on the weekend, finding it hard to think straight.

Carlton: Here, sign this....

Genius!

Great work again 👍

Does anybody else think Barass70 is Paul Barbazza from the Carlton Show with Andy Mahar and Twitter?

🥸🧐🔎

Has anyone ever seen Barass70 and Ron Barassi in the same room together?

This kind of thing is just becoming the new norm. Short-term filler deals to get through to free agency. Doesn't mean a player doesn't have any confidence in the group/team, or that they want to leave in 2 years. But it does put the club on notice and lets the player test the market and maximise their deal, even if that deal ends up being less than market value at their current club.
H was on SEN, spoke very well the lad. It sounded to me like he felt 2 years was commensurate with this output thus far in his career. Loves the club and never dealt with anyone else other than Carlton (the thought of leaving never entered his mind).

Barass70 is too eloquent to be Baz. Barbazza's mail may get far and few between once LoGiudice steps down.

I always thought it was Tony 'The Beast' De Bolfo but have a work colleague who went to school with him and he says he isn't (but then he would say that).

I did manage to snap this photo of Barass70 on the sly.

No way a club historian would have that much insight to inner workings of the club. It's someone who has the ear of someone high up. Probably all LoGiudice linked tbh

:thumbsu:

Also good for the club as they can be more nimble across the board with contracts, ie the opposite of Collingwood's contract woes.

We are very lucky that Harry has signed for 2 years. Think about what a failure the club has been the entire time Harry has played for us and the big offers he would have received from other clubs. Many players would have asked to leave given the same circumstances.

It is incredible we have been able to keep players the way we have on the back of some hope (or long rebuild). Although I expect a few lesser names and youngsters to leave at the end of the year, now that some of that hope has turned into disappointment and uncertainty.

Really? In the bye week? Jesus Harry, have some standards mate. They haven't done anything yet. At least take a few phone calls, have a cup of coffee in public and wait till a few things change on field. We're mediocre. If you're just happy to be there, collect a pay cheque, and have the ball kicked to you a lot, you're part of the problem.

Clive Cussler would be rolling in his grave (R.I.P.) You don't deserve the name Dirk Pitt.
