McKay staying along with Cripps gives us something we desperately need at our lowest point of the season…..Commitment

Let’s hope it galvanises the group and they show it on field…

I’m with Riewoldt in thinking that the best way to galvanize the group is to drop those who refuse to be two way runners and don’t do the team defense things and we need to drop big names so we should start with Docherty and Murphy. Seeing Murphy come back when he’s earned it and Docherty chasing down opponents will be what galvanizes our team more than McKay signing on.

You’ll be dropping more than 2 players if that’s the case but yes Murphy is the most obvious

Now all we need is Norf to offer a "godfather" deal to both Walsh and Cripps and they'll re-commit within a few days too

Wayne Carey reminding players around the league that he was once associated with Norf is a good enough reason for players to stay away from the joint.

CARLTON forward Harry McKay has committed his future to the Navy Blue, signing a two-year contract extension with the Club.

The new deal will see the Coleman Medal leader continue to spearhead the Blues’ attack until at least the end of 2023.
