Personally, after reading all the ITK clues and the strange circumstances including how Ross suddenly withdrew, I suspect Cook and Clarko will be announced next week if Dees win.

That said, if that doesn't happen, I'd be totally happy with Brad Scott as an experienced and fierce coach. My original coach poll votes from a few months ago were Clarkson, Ross and Scott. If we don't get 1 or 2, 3 is still a good option and big upgrade from 2021 coach.

When a post starts with IF.....any hyperbola that follows is laughable. It starts out as a maybe and then becomes a certifiable fact.

I actually think that a lot more posts here should start with "if". Too many pretend knowledge, I'd like to see a lot more "ifs" and "in my views".

If anyone has the age or the interest he reminds me a lot of Roy Masters in RL. Had his list raided by the rich clubs every year but still kept coming back. Old school but very underrated coach was Roy.

Yep.. the only reliable news is that which paints the club in a glowing light.

Week in week out, we hear how trash the footy media is, week in week out - seemingly the same people watch the same programs.

Caro is the best footy journo out there, I could listen to her all night.
I doubt she would be making stuff up[, she usually seems on the money.
People can be negative towards us when we make perceived mistakes.
I find myself agreeing with Caro more than not.

We chase a coach -oh he is the one he is amazing he is the man.
That coach knocks us back- Ah well never really wanted him anyway.
Another coaches name pops up- Oh yea he is the man, he is the one. He took an average list and did this and that with it
That coach knocks us back- Yea well no great loss he wouldnt of been the right fit for us anyway.
The merry go round continues.

All i know is whoever we appoint the proof will be in the pudding come the end of next year.
I really do not care who it is or is not anymore because according to the club if the team isnt playing finals next year then it has to be considered a failure because that is their prerequisite.
It is going to be interesting times ahead and is probably fair to say is why Carlton are throwing so much at Clarko. He is the only one who could probably not take them to finals next year and the heat would not come for the board for their decisions. Any other coach would bring instant heat if they failed.

I don't think the word amazing has been used in relation to 99.9% of the people linked to us for the job.

Underwhelming probably more apt.
