We would’ve picked leuenberger. If memory serves, at the time we were tossing up between him and Murphy for pick 1. If that happens I doubt we pick Kreuzer 2 years later and probably grab Cotchin instead who went pick 2. We end up with Murphy/Gibbs/Cotchin/Leuenberger. Sliding doors and all that.

I don't think we need a gun ruckman so much as a gun ruck coach. For all I love Kreuze, he was never really a noted tap ruckman, and while I'm sure he's got plenty to offer TDK I reckon someone who was better versed in giving their mids silver service taps would be better.

I'd love to get someone like Goldstein across the minute he retires at North Melbourne. Would even take him for a year as a player/coach (ala Betts 9r Mumford) if he was up for it.

Goldstein is a great tap ruckman. We need a tap ruckman, not someone who just jumps into the opposite ruckman...ball just goes anywhere...
