We are suckers for pain.

We are not getting Clarkson. We've begged and grovelled for weeks and he has shut the door. We wouldn't be interviewing candidates if he was even a 50/50 chance. That ship has sailed. Besides Voss, we'll be getting a rookie coach which is not at all a bad outcome. All the best coaches had to start somewhere. If we get the process right and secure the right person, we could be unveiling the next great coach.

The key is getting the right people in supportive positions to help them.

How do you know? Have you personally witnessed how they communicate with players? Could you please give me a detailed analysis of each of their game plans and vision for the Carlton side? I'd really appreciate some more substance.

We have such a messiah complex at Carlton. I'd prefer a younger, ready to go senior coach over a coach whose been to the top of the mountain and might need a refresh

I'd be throwing huge bucks at Clarko for 2 years. COVID will be mostly on the backburner and he can travel to his heart's content in 2024.
