According to SOS we dont need any midfielders. And we dont need Hewitt cause we have Ed. Omg. No wonder our list is not balanced enough. He just wanted nice boys to be around his boys. Not bad influences, no rebels. No Extroverts. The list goes on.

And yes SOS was one of my favourite players, but I dont think he is the best list manager around.

Cerra and Hewett quality players, but SOS is right. We are oversubscribed for mids and have plenty of quality among them. A decent coaching team will bring on our youngsters in leaps and bounds. We can’t fit Cripps, Walsh, Cerra, Hewett, Kennedy, Dow, Setterfield, Stocker, Williams, Carroll, Philp, Ramsay, Cuningham, etc, etc in one team. It is too many for two teams if you Also throw-in JSOS, Fisher, Martin, LOB, Kent, Fogarty, Durdin who can all play in there oh wait SPS, Gibbons, Cottrell. Far to many mids. We fix the development AND add mature types…….CRAZY

Not 100% sure how we balance it, but we have to balance it.

Thanks for that. Unbelievable that it knocked down a wall on Chapel St, was felt as far as Tas, SA, NSW and ACT, knocked stuff off the walls of the nearest pub, but the 12 blokes who were closer to the epicentre than anyone else, were unscathed and the mine intact.

Hewett will most definitely be in our 22 come Round 1. Never meant to mean that he wouldn’t be or he would sporadically appear in the side for 2022. Sorry if what I wrote I came across like that!

Your conjecture is different from my conjecture.

All we can do is do what we have been doing for years, support the club and hope for the best. I'm flat about it, even though it was expected.

That's really good to hear. The vision of that brick parapet collapse in Chappel Street was frightening; I shudder to think what may have been if not for lockdown and minimal pedestrians.

It knocked down the bloody Pratt stand, totally gone.

So so lucky, there was no one walking on that footpath on chapel street, would have been horrible.

All he said was that you don't trade in taggers. You give players these simplified roles when they are struggling with more skilled roles. Questioned why we would need 2 taggers
