Hewett is exactly what we need right now. Sure 1 or 2 of SOS' other picks may become that down the track (I doubt it) the price is right (free) and the contract is ideal (cheap). 100% a correct pick up.

Hewett is about ready to jump up in ability. Possibly even reach elite. Very talented footballer who can be our Jarryd Lyon or jack Steele.

Can an ITK please provide some comfort that the club has the assistant coaches a decent way to being sorted out, if we settle on Voss as Head Coach and we don't have anybody except the assistant coach of the year in support then "rudderless" may seem like a compliment.

Sorry, I don't understand.
No-one, I think that's his point. DFA so we don't lose a player but have 2 specialist taggers with only 1 required at any given time. Otherwise we fill the spot with a regular mid struggling for form and support them by giving them a chance to play themselves into form.
It's wasteful and a missed opportunity if Ed stays on the list, unless we have another role in mind for either of them?

If we really come out of this pre-season with our preferred coach not available until 2023 and our preferred assistants not available until 2023 then good luck selling that

Difficult one. his kicking in last few games that he played were very good. Just lacking that physicality. Which is weird because he his usually first to face up to oppo players in melee’s

Agree, Lob's skills are there, But facing up to players in a melee's is safe these days with all the cameras etc. Worst that can happen is some pushing, shoving, jumper punch and a torn jumper. Physicality needs to be shown with bone crunching tackles and going hard at the ball when its your turn.
