Hopefully Vossy gets announced tomorrow, I’m excited to see what he can do!! I have a good feeling about Vossy and our bluebaggers moving forward
it did what?
32 next month, great competitor but he is close to the end regardless of fitness.Ed 31 years old. One of the fittest in league.
Leads Hewett in all statistics of relevance.
Head coach first, assistants second.
Not the other way around.
Hewett will take his spot completely next seasonOw SOS. Ed and Hewett can play in the same side you know. Hewett will take his spot completely in 2023. Weird how he can’t look at this as an astute pick up, he adds a hardened edge to the midfield that we need and will take the pressure off Walsh and Dow to win their own ball so often. Not to mention his aerobic power that I’ve seen. At 450k for 4 years - this is good list management. Cmon man
You don't mean the entire Pratt stand do you? surely not..It knocked down the bloody Pratt stand, totally gone.
So so lucky, there was no one walking on that footpath on chapel street, would have been horrible.
apart from the French Ambassadorex-player/administrator disagrees with some of ex-club's decisions..................prime minister calls emergency meeting of everyone ever.............
I get it, Hewett is a solid player but nothing really more than that...it's probably true a midfielder like that is someone clubs typically draft and develop, rather than recruit from other clubs. We probably wouldn't need to poach him if we had developed our many young mids properly.
But he's a FA and costs around $450k so I won't begrudge it.
Ed 32 years old and horrible kick
Hewett 26 years old
If I recall correctly, you were in the Kinglake area during the fires?Have spent some time around Jamieson, Woods Point, King Valley etc............good call by you...........

scary night.........If I recall correctly, you were in the Kinglake area during the fires?
both ages wrong...but ok...
Ditto about jack SteeleNot sure that Hewett is just a tagger. He was freed up of his "tagging" by the Swans late in the season and his offensive stats increased significantly. Just because he has been used as a tagger doesn't limit him to just being a tagger. I think he will be a good pick up and he and Ed will both be in the team round 1 next year
Who was the last very talented footballer the swans let go. Just let go for nothing... They don't do that.Hewett is about ready to jump up in ability. Possibly even reach elite. Very talented footballer who can be our Jarryd Lyon or jack Steele.
You can also add that Hewett would be better then any player SOS could get to the club through free agency and draft never landed big fish or above average players like Williams and Saad
