The
A mate of mine reckons that Walsh is rumoured to have requested a trade to the Dogs.
Anyone else heard this?

For the record, I don't believe it.
The rumour is not quite right. Sam Walsh has requesting a trade to North Heidelberg - he's been offered the job of Captain-Coach and running the bar on Saturday night - I like the hospitality angle, as he does need to consider a career post-football.

I think SOS is excellent at drafting talls, but no so much midfielders. Can't complain about our tall players he has drafted, Weiters, Charlie, Harry and TDK.

His son is becoming an integral part, and I actually think Cuningham is a very good player. Each time he finds form he gets injured. A matter of fact, injuries to a lot of these players have cost us growth.
Not sure about TDK to be honest. Has set things on fire. Yep he is young but apart from a couple of grabs an great game against nic nat he has been a tad disappointing.

Ah well...hard to say no to that.
All the best Sam.
Shouldn't be hard to replace him though.

Hewitt is an upgrade on some of SOS’ recruits so it is difficult for him to be objective. Two way running tackling machines are not that easy to come by, and we need critical mass of this type around Walsh. Get him through the door.
The funny thing is that we have to recruit someone like Hewitt because SOS recruited too many midfielders who weren’t good runners to surround Cripps with.

Excited to finally get a coach. Whether it's Voss, Kingsley, Ross or Clarko in a miracle, I don't care, as I trust the panel's judgement. And if there are no decent assistants left, I guess we'll have to scrape whoever we can on one year contracts and poach some quality next year for the long term.

22yo ruckman yet to dominate competition - tune in after the break for this, and more of this week's biggest stories.

According to SOS we dont need any midfielders. And we dont need Hewitt cause we have Ed. Omg. No wonder our list is not balanced enough. He just wanted nice boys to be around his boys. Not bad influences, no rebels. No Extroverts. The list goes on.

And yes SOS was one of my favourite players, but I dont think he is the best list manager around.
Hewitt is hardly an out there, extrovert type tbf.

SOS did also draft Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow, who definitely have some cheek about them.

I bet when you go to the pub with said mate, he develops T-Rex arms and mysteriously can’t reach his wallet. He’s having a Len of you mate. Walsh very happy at Blues and looking to sign new contract after we get through trade/draft period - ie sacrifice money to help sign Cerra and Hewett and potentially others. Will be a 12-15 year Blues HOF.

Look at Kennedy this year such improvement now Russell has worked with him to develop the right physical attributes for his role.

So is it really just a recruitment issue?
