His whole mantra is about good people in the right roles. He knows why he has been appointed and I highly doubt he wouldn't be willing to rock the boat. Huge changes at Geelong when he went there.

If it was 50/50 which you are suggesting I'm not sure what your issue would be then. You can't have both of them.

Anyways neither of us could know what happens behind closed doors and I'm just making assumptions so I'll leave it there.

What I actually detest is this attempted white knighting and intelligence flexing. It's sad. You've then tried to accuse me of removing a post and stopping right of reply, something I didn't do, now apparently I have a group of lackies?? Ok.... Who? I noticed you had a big dig at Thy, so I assume you think he's one. If you know much about this place at all, which you do Harks, then you'd know Thy hates my guts and very very rarely outwardly agrees with what I post.

Can you respond to anyone without labelling them in a pejorative way? Everyone is a hypocrite or is arrogant or you want to paint them as some buffoon by deliberately misspelling words (work on your own before you do that btw).

Whoever Harks is, you're totally barking up the wrong tree there. I would have no idea who is who apart from what I've read since joining and reading periodically before that. I'm not surprised if you've had issues with Harks before if they've called you out on the way you speak to others.

I'm happy to move on, but I think it's really unnecessary behaviour that yourself, Thy, Metalcrusher and co were carrying on with. It's fine to have a right of reply, but why name call and belittle constantly? That's what is sad.

Well nothing is certain.

I tend to be glass half full and want to feel a little excitement again. It may all fail, but hopefully not. We shall see.

One thing about all this though, it genuinely does feel like a reset. Finally.

Unfortunately, your posts come across as very abrasive and acerbic. Maybe you need to work on your "tone" and certainly your repeated rhetorics ....
 
The more I think about this, I just keep coming back to the overall leadership of Carlton, and how we are in a stronger position than we have been in a long time. When names like Parkin, Williams and Cook are endorsing Voss, this is a great sign, and I ultimately trust them. Voss is not the guy I would have originally thought, and it is taking me a bit to warm up to the idea, but I did love hearing today about the change in culture at the club and I thought Voss talked like a real leader. I hope and believe that the leadership of the club will support him and I think Voss would feel comfortable in knowing Williams and Cook are around the place to give him that support. Hopefully we can get some good assistants into the club now to build a strong coaching group. Go Blues!!

Thanks for that, but from what I've read from you I won't be taking any of your advice on board.

If you find me abrasive, I'm sure there's no real need to converse with each other and you can stop quoting me and trying to bait an argument.

I'm actually in a very amiable mood right now. I am most certainly not baiting you, just giving a little constructive criticism. There seems to be a rift between the way you think your posts are being received and your thoughts/opinions you are trying to put forward. This actually says a lot more about you than it does me :)
