The thing is that they write those headlines for clickbait. If P. Cripps was actually injured then they would write "Carlton star injured at training" and wouldn't reveal the exact player, just like with today's headline they didn't reveal the exact Cripps.

Unfortunately that's what today's media has come to - it's all about the clicks and the headlines.
