Left me very Parched.
In my reasonably extensive experience, journo's are just lazy liars,
never exert themselves to expose the truth, just take the easy path.
Who is it then?We are going hard at a GWS midfielder, we are shaking the tree but we have our sights on a certain young player.
GWS facing a salary squeeze and will struggle to sign Taranto, but Taranto is just a distraction we are after another.
Who is it then?
Surely we're already set for contested midfielders...Hopper has been written about.
Giant contract dilemma reported for star duo
It seems the New South Wales club may bid farewell to one of their midfield bulls.www.zerohanger.com
Whitfield would be the best fit, along with Sam Taylor down back, but doubt we shake either of them loose.Surely we're set already for contested midfielders...
Hopper seems most likely. Maybe one of the kids like Bruhn. Kelly has his get out clause iirc but doubt our cap stretches that far.
Yeah would be ideal, but no chance GWS let either of them leave. I doubt we have much room to move in the salary cap, allowing for existing players' pay rises, anyway.Whitfield would be the best fit, along with Sam Taylor down back, but doubt we shake either of them loose.
He's improving, but not exactly setting the world on fire. Peatling is another if their kids I like the look of.Yeah, Bruhn would be the younger brigade. Not a big fan on what’s been on display so far in his games.
Edit: would prefer to be drafting our own & developing through our programs (seems to be on the improve or as much as our gameplan in the AFL).
Does anyone actually think that we have any great interest in a midfielder, particularly an inside mid?love developing our future clipart stars in our gws reserves then copying and pasting them into our best 22 placeholders - elite ms publisher at work........
rumour has it rumour is all rumour...........and that's as close as I'll get to a palindrome this week, rumour has it..........Does anyone actually think that we have any great interest in a midfielder, particularly an inside mid?

No ones dreaming. Random conversations about questionable rumours on the internet. Grain of salt stuff.Hate to burst the bubble of everyone dreaming of recruiting Whitfield etc, I am a lot happier now to try develop and grow our own kids from within aka Carroll, Owies, Kemp, Durdin etc
Don't get me wrong Cerra and Hewett have been zip zap zapulous recruits, but I really want to us to start drafting and developing more of our own kids and future stars more, especially now we look like we are finally getting good at it.
Also Whitfield would cost too much both in terms of trade capital and salary cap space
I honestly believe we can and should draft and develop the final pieces of our next premiership team organically/from within.
Time to put the cheque book away I reckon.
