I don’t disagree with the general point but we also need to consider that every one of those rucks was miles ahead of where Pitto and TDK are now. Not to mention Hawks had McEvoy. Dogs really the only one on list without a genuinely good ruckman.

Crippa got votes in just about every game Pitto played. Hardly a vote when TDK played ruck. It is not a co-incidence. Pitto is under rated

All you need to do is watch the footage of when they announce Cripps has the winner and see Harrys reaction then. Arm in the air looking around like a child that's just won something himself.

Pitto pre injury was performing comfortably at the level of that group - our real issue is what to do with the 2nd/part time ruck position

Each to their own but I reckon that overrates Pitto/underrates the rest. Lycett, for example, was very good that year and the GF was his 75th game of AFL (cf. with Pitto who won't get to that experience for another 2 years).

I'm not advocating for Grundy and Pitto may get up there but I think it's a bit much to be proclaiming that you can win a GF with someone of his current quality. Interest in someone like Meek would be understandable, if only the hedge the bets a bit.

That is true. However, I would call them an upgrade on Pitto, particularly Hickey.

Thats telling, and Pitt is very much under rated by the supporters, as much as TDK I believe is over rated by the same ones. I definitely think there is room for a ruck between Pitt and TDK.

Pitto and TDK as a 2nd ruck/KPF will form a handy combination in the future, unfortunately Silvagni would probably be surplus if this occurs.

This is what I've been thinking - maybe a big issue of our ruck style is using Cripps when TDK or SOS is resting. Regardless of his height, he's our most impactful midfielder and the one in 200 pluck from the ruck and snap isn't worth losing his contested midfielder numbers.

Hickey/Ladhams or Stanley/Blicavs are good Ruck combinations, may not be A grade, as Grundy or Gwan and support are , but clearly superior to our postion.

That will be another 2 seasons minimum and if TDK develops as we hope he would be able to do and fill our need.

I saw that as well.. and can now reveal what happened.
It's a well know fact around the changerooms that Harry's favourite scent is BVLGARI 'Man in Black' Eau De Parfum.
When Crippa and 'Harry' embraced, Crippa realised the scent that wafted through his nostrils was 'Blue Stratos'..
Crippa immediately knew what happened and pushed him away..
Harry was found a few minutes later bound and gagged in the toilets.. and Ben was escorted out of the building muttering 'I knew the cologne would give me away.. only H can afford that on his contract'..

Ladhams has made zero contribution to Sydney this year, overrated and no better than Pitto.
Hickey is a very good contributor no doubt, we are not in as bad as shape in this area as you continue to make out.

With zero research on this point and not knowing the hits to advantage and who they went to, is it possible that Pittonet looks for Cripps more when he gets the ball and distributes, as opposed to TDK who is more likely to use his athleticism to run and kick himself?
