GC release Bowes, have 2, 1st rounders next year, where they have 3 academy kids in the top 20

GC would definitely go for this. They'd be very tempted by the possibility of North finishing last again and GC snagging Harley Reid along with their 3 academy kids. And if North don't finish last, there's still a chance that they finish low enough for GC to have their pick before Jed Walter is selected.

But as much as having 1, 5 and 7 in this draft would be a huge boon for North, would they risk the opportunity of missing out on Reid? It's a bold proposition for sure.
