I think once Truck was sacked and the ball was rolling at the end of August they've done it right since then. Everything after that I can accept. And before that is the previous administration's **** ups. But the bullshit they spun in the week in between was hot garbage and he said himself he would've done things differently with sacking Rutten (presumably rip the bandaid off earlier):It really wasn't.
Maybe it was communicated poorly, but he was actioning items that would have been questioned if he didn't. Could you imaging that if Clarko was scott free and he wasn't asked to coach EFC, what the football (Essendon) public would have asked.
The delay was the existing boards fault - not Barhams at all. They refused to investigate Clarko because they all wanted to persist with Truck - who was easily manipulated and fit agendas. Barham started the cull by asking questions that everyone knew the answers to... but were pretecting their own arses for,
If there's anything I won't raise as a * up in this whole drama is Barham putting up his hand and asking questions that everyone else were happy sitting on the same status quo.
Some might say these questioons were 15 years behind where we shoiuld have been.
Ask any supporter who watched us in the 70s know how low we could sink before the glamour 80s and 90s. After that - we were puppets. I see this as the first time we've been out of the shaddow for a long time.
Just need to * off Sheedy.
OMG I've been looking for that gif for like 10 years. Like literally 10 years, no exaggeration. There's been so many times where I was trying to find the "Mr Burns hasn't died because every germ is trying to get in at once and got jammed" gif and it didn't seem to exist anywhere. And then I couldn't even figure out what episode it was and thought I'd gone nuts and dreamt up the entire thing. Thank you!

The sad thing about today is that these comments will be what people are left with as a lasting memory of Sheedy.
I hope once this is all over he can still be appreciated for everything he has done for the club.
The first week was a shocker. It really wasn't.

Sadly I don't think he does.Do you think he actually understands the damage he is doing to the club at the moment? His form recently has been awful. Genuinely undoing all the hard work he has put in over the years and severely tarnishing his legacy. Time to go before he does even more damage…
I put him in the Trump category.Sheeds knows (or knew) how to work a room, watched him do it more than once.
“This is what happens when you bring new people into the club."
Indeed.RoCo putting every pro Sheedy nuff on Twitter back in place. It might just be my timeline but it went from majority positive for Scott to now everything about Sheedy.
Is Red Sash an Essendon supporter or a wolf in sheep’s clothing?!I think Red Sash absolutely melting on Twitter might be the cherry on top of a very satisfying day.
Save for the Sheedy **** up. Embarrassing old git
He's definitely an Essendon supporter. He's also one of the biggest nuffies going aroundIs Red Sash an Essendon supporter or a wolf in sheep’s clothing?!
I put him in the Trump category.
Just echoing a few of the older fans on here in regards to sheedy and his early days. He really did transform us from a nice club to a nasty premiership winning powerhouse. Dad and I worshipped him in the early 80’s. His only focus was us. It then went to his head. First it was edelesten and his massive offer to coach sydney. Then he would threaten to leave every three or four years to richmond , where again he would get massive pay rises to stay.
He lost me around the 95/96 period, I call these the lunatic years. We were no longer his no.1 focus, it was all about him, self promoting, the books, the videos, Kevin time. Cash in time. The 2000 flag was the ideal time to go to richmond but it bought him more time ( thank the bullfrog mcmahon for that)
He went kicking and screaming in 2007, thank god, outstayed his welcome. It’s as if he is now on some stupid revenge mission. Who the * invited him onto the board ? Himself probably. Sinking copious amounts of red at game day functions and waving his bloody scarf clearly not enough to sate his ego. “ I’m Kevin sheedy, multi millionaire blue collar plumber, Essendon power broker” Saw through his schtick years ago.
Untenable. Dick Reynolds , your idol, would never act in this way.
Go away.
Truck knew as soon as Barham had power that he was a dead man walking. The first week was a shocker.
If you want to sack the coach then sack him. Do not chase the next coach while you still have one hanging in the breeze. They could have sacked Truck on the Monday. They knew he was not the guy they wanted. You do not let him coach out the week and last game.
