Time's ticking nerds, so let's get straight to the monkey.

So what happened? Well, the Swamprats, Wonders & Warriors all lost their first games of the season, the Dragons rise to first place after three wins on the trot, Roy keeps on getting kissed on the peen, the Phoenix won their first game consigning the bye-having Furies to the bottom of the table.
And on an individual standpoint, this:
Young DragoDelph has pulled away to a massive 7 kick lead in the Little Spoon, which is even more impressive as none of his closest rivals were permabanned this week. His 24 frees for (at an average of 6 per game no less) sees him well clear of CakeEater and Zevon who both sit on 17, one ahead of ex-rookie Dazjack and two ahead of Electronic_Renaissance & tigs2010
beez is also puling away from the pack in the Big Spoon, his 12 conceded frees has him three clear of RonnieRaven & Tarkyn_24 and four clear of these people: Bovo Falconista Ligma Robertio SaintsSeptember & Shueygod
I'm off like granny's pants. Seeya next week nerds.
beez and I are the unlikely enforcers at the Gumbies.View attachment 1614699

It was easy come, easy go for the Swamprats when it came to leading the free kick table. In the top of the table matchup with the Roys they were no match for the perennial free kick receivers, going down 9-12 to relinquish top spot to the monkey men. The Royals were unable to capitalise on the Sin Citizens' slip as they too went down 9-13 to the Warriors. The Wonders & Phoenix also had seven kick wins over the Gumbies & Bombers respectively, keeping the Babylonians stuck to the bottom of the table. The team they replaced at the bottom in the Furies had their second win in as many games, this time a resounding 26-13 shellacking of the Dragons.
An interesting fact about round six - the six teams to win the free kick count also won the qooty. Coincidence or conspiracy? You be the judge.
Individually, round six looked like this:
What the heck is going on at Dragon Island? There's some real Jekyll & Hyde energy around the place, as they lead both the Little Spoon for most frees received and the Big Spoon for most frees given. The former is still DragoDelph who looks like choking harder than Supersuns did a few seasons ago, receiving nil frees for in round six. New board mod Zevon received three frees as part of his sign on bonus to halve the lead from last week. omgfridge picked up five to join tigs2010 in third place on 22 kicks, while long time friend of the Spoon Millky95 also picked up 5 frees to end the round in fifth place, one behind Tigger and the appliance.
On the other side of the tracks, it was Drago's mentor and Bailey Banfield enthusiast serial_thrilla (Simpsons screenshot incoming) who has come from nowhere to storm into the Big Spoon lead on 14 frees against, thanks to an obscene seven (7) free kicks conceded in round six. Falconista and Ligma conceded three frees apiece to sit one adrift of thrills, while Warrior winger Agent93 joins the reformed beez (who conceded no frees last week) in equal fourth place, two kicks off the lead.
Happy long weekend to those who observe.
This is the only individual award I strive for
