1) Carlton to finish 9th or 10th and miss out on the finals by a game and %
2) The club and half its supporter base to become aware that it needs a quick and radical re-engineering of the coaching department
3) Because the hard work on providing a competitive list is done. All the work now is above the shoulders.
4) Pre draft 2021 a debate will ensue as whether Carlton needs to keep its 1st round draft pick for a KPP or trade for Merret/Oliver. The club will go the easy fix and bring in the name recruit.
5) Dow and Obrien will play good games early but will not stand the heat in the kitchen come hard end of season games and deep down we will all know they can't be part of a finals future.
6) The president to resign at the end of the season 2021. Unfortuntely there will be a pleasant handover to someone on the board rather than the recruitment of a dynamic leader.
7) Big questions asked of Cripps pace and long term fitness by the end of the season 2021 due to the physical pressure he incurred early in his career.
Funny in hindsight how accurate this actually turned out to be...

Bottom half of the top 8, where abouts who knows. Bad run of injuries and we won’t make it

Cripps best and fairest winner

Durdin becomes the 3rd best forward

Cerra finishes top 3 bnf

We will beat Richmond at least 1 of the 2 games we play em this year

Don't lose a game.
Win flag by 60+
Cripps - Brownlow
Harry - Coleman & 100 goals
Walsh - Norm Smith
Kemp - Rising Star

Huge Improvement on the horizon
Carlton to finish 9th or 10th
Carlton will lose the first 2 games
The Mcgovern/Mcdonald experiment will ultimately fail
A tactical mastermind will replace one of the assistants at season's end and become Voss' 2ic.
Dow gone at years end. O'brien to get 1 more year
C Curnow's knee to be assessed as degenerative and a worry that limits him to only 2 or 3 seasons, where he never quite hits his former standards
Jack Carrol best 22 by year end, mid field minutes and best 3rd round recruit in Carlton's history.
We will start to hear whispers of the Miracle of Mirkov after he plays 2 games at the end of season
Kennedy wins B & F and with Owies 28 goal season & Philp establishing himself as a wingman giving the SoS years a poditive perspective
Andrew Russel replaced at end of season

Here we go again

  • 11-13 wins, more wins 2nd half of the season
  • Motlop & Carroll to cement themselves by the end of the year
  • Cripps back to his 2018/19 form
  • Weitering AA
  • 4 players 25+ goals
  • Hewett top 5 BnF

Well, wins were in the range, 2nd half of the season was tougher due to a number of reasons

2023
  • 13 -15 Wins
  • Carroll to cement himself in the 22
  • Lemmey to play 6+ games
  • Williams top 10 BnF

Bolded the bold call. Do you see him playing through need of a tall due to injury or because we see him as part of a talls rotation?

16-7. Prelim finalist beaten by eventual premier in a close-ish game.

Hollands and Cowan rising star noms

Boyd, Hollands, Carroll, Honey, Kemp to get regular games (not necessarily best 22)

Walsh back to his brilliant best from about R5 but he and Cripps hurt one another's Brownlow chances. Both finish top 10 but 4-7 votes behind winner

Four members in the All-Australian team (Cripps, Walsh, Charlie, Jacob/Harry) with three others in the AA squad (Saad, Docherty, Harry/Jacob).

Really surprised at the number of people having us in the 12-14 win range.

We won 12 this year and there is an extra game. 13 or less would be a diabolically poor result.

Another year under Voss, perfect age bracket, recruited/drafted to fix known weakness, fit group at this stage with no vital players likely to be not ready, massive spur of this year's failure driving the group.

FWIW:

16-18 wins, top 4, experience in finals might cost us, but we are good enough to win it

Cottrell more important than most realise, plays most games.

Pittonet, TDK and JSOS will not play in the team together (barring injury to Harry/Charlie).

They are just saying that cause they are still heartbroken from last years result

No way do we only win 12. As you said we are better, couldn’t have had more injuries, also feel more driven

Not possible
