Brisbane and Collingwood have come to an agreement which sees both Sean Rusling and Rhyce head north and Luke Power come to Collingwood. Lions were keen to get more goal scoring options and pace whilst the Pies need more grunt around the packs.

Fremantle are pleased to announce the signing of tall midfielder Jarryd Morton. Morton, an exciting young prospect, and Pick 34 were traded to Fremantle, while Hawthorn received Picks 21 and 37.

Hawthorn's Tim Boyle has gone north to Sydney in exchange for Amon Buchanan of the Swans. Joining Boyle in the deal was draft pick 50.

The Hawthorn Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of young Danny Meyer from the Tigers. Leaving the club will be Mitchell Thorp.
 
Trade - Nth Melbourne/Sydney

After a dissapointing year barely registering a game, Nick Davis was traded from the Harbour City to the Kangaroos. Joining him at his new home was another Premiership player in Luke Ablett. In return, the Swans were more than happy to receive Daniel Wells and Aaron Edwards.

Trade - Sydney/Western Bulldogs

Amidst the large turnover of Forwards at the Sydney Swans, Barry Hall and Heath Grundy were traded to the Western Bulldogs, with the largely dissapointing Lewis Roberts-Thompson included in the deal. In return, the Swans received Andrejs Everitt, as well as Picks 32 and 48.
 
TRADE - NORTH / HAWTHORN

Hawthorn coach Perth Swans is pleased to welcome Daniel Pratt to the club from the Kangaroos. In exchange the Kangaroos will receive Brent Guerra.

Hawthorn have recruited John Anthony from Collingwood as well as draft pick 45. In exchange Collingwood got Clint Young.
 
Crows Happy
The Crows have secured the services of the skilfull Patrick Veszpremi (taken by Sydney #11 in the 2007 draft) along with Sydneys 4th rounder (#62) for Scott Stevens and Luke Jericho
 
Big names haven't signed
Fremantle have yet to sign some key players in Chris Tarrant, David Mundy, Paul Haselby and Des Headland. There has been some interest in these players from other clubs. Anyone who is interested should contact the Fremantle coach.

While Ryan Murphy and Adam Campbell are also looking for a new club.
