You've obviously got your reasons for thinking that, but Young is best 22 and leading the I50 count for the prospective premiers, he is exactly the sort of outside runner we need, and would probably cost half of Goddard and a third of Cloke. He is value if you ask me. Would be very glad to see him here

He might cost half as much, but he's half as good as Goddard. I'm sorry, I don't buy the arugment that Young is "better value" simply because he is cheaper. You get what you pay for. Anyone lured in FA is going to come overpriced, including Young. I'd rather spend the money on an elite player, rather than spend less on a solid player.
I think it is much easier for teammates to accept a gun coming into the side on top $$$, whereas it would be easy to be resentful for the many similar quality players to Young, who see him come into the side on a relatively big salary for someone of his calibre.
