Wonder how Medusula is doing out there?

He got everything he wanted, and it went the way we all said it would.
The same as all the morons who thought it was a good idea.

They've gone very silent... going off on some other Russian backed crusade

The only decent argument I've ever heard for Brexit has come from the left - specifically, getting out of the EUs rules on deficit spending and nationalising businesses, including utilities. Of course Brexit would never have got up under the left, because those concepts don't arouse people's emotions in the way xenophobia does, but I wonder if a Brexit managed by Corbyn would have worked out better.

Having a single reserve bank setting interest rate levers based on rich areas to the detriment of poorer areas is even worse in a huge entity like EU

But that’s more a problem with capitalism than the EU

No. More importantly it was a dumb idea to get out of the worlds largest trade block.

Is there anyone of the pro-Brexit crew left here defending it?

One of the things that the pro brexit people were saying that if we leave the EU we will have full control of our borders, well with illegal immigration at a records high in the UK that's worked out well hasn't it brexiteers 🤣

I was not on board but I will say anti EU does have some benefits under the Corban/varoufakis policy, monetary/industrial policy/agricultural protectionism.

But they didn't try that, It's now Romania with a financial centre. I think if you were writing a 'fall of the British empire' book in the future, you'd wrap it up around now in the 5th volume
