Lester is also a bit undersized with Carlton’s three tall forwards. Anyone know what sort of form Gardiner has been in the twos?

Thousands did. Not really surprising given families come and dont really want to hear that rant by everyone around them.

Families can get f*cked and f*ck off if they’re that sensitive then; bloody snivel libertarians.

It’s a bit of fun.

I’ve literally heard them play the live version of the song (which also turns down the music to accentuate the crowd) on the radio

Did the line that Payne didn’t train last week and was in a moon boot after the port game not mean much to you?

Doesn’t mean he will miss, but has been clear for a while that Jack has been playing through injury.

Assumed as much. Clearly carrying something. Has been mentioned several times he's been in the rehab training group

Payne came down really heavily right at the death of last game, I thought he might have been concussed but would make sense it was his neck instead. He stayed down for some time.

Ran into someone in the Edinburgh Gardens after the Melbourne game on Saturday who might know a thing or two about where we sit on a few matters and how we view the opposition.

The one thing I can share is that a few of our guys were fairly sore after the Port game and the week off is exactly what we needed. We saw how sore the Port guys were last night.

Obviously the whole world knows Payne has an issue but he's likely to be in better shape than some of the Blues players.

No need for us to go jumping at shadows, they're banged up and we're in reasonably good shape on our home deck.

The only little niggle I have is that Curnow was next to useless on Friday and it's unlikely that will happen again. And they still won. Though no one knows how.

We need to come out firing early. This is their last hurrah and they'll be throwing everything at us but they can't keep winning games where they're clearly the inferior team.

Only fear really I see is that we are so heavily favoured that the pressure gets to us if we have a bad start. I'm sure we'll settle in.
I think as the week wears on the Carlton bandwagon will get rolling. They've got Curnow with McKay back , and Martin as well . We're vulnerable down back against firepower etc. They'll get a strong buildup.

The way I see it the umps and the Swans inaccuracy gifted them that game and on Friday night Melbourne were a bit busted up and just a weird confluence of posters and missteps gifted them that game when Melbourne clearly had their measure.

I'm not underselling the Blues because they've won a lot of games especially the last few weeks but their luck has to run out sooner or later and it's up to us to play our own game and not give them a sniff. Because it is a prelim. and there's no tomorrow.

I’ll admit that I haven’t been enamoured with how we’ve used the sub but could Gardiner be any sort of chance as sub if Payne plays with a cloud over him? We’d be in all sorts if we got an injury anywhere else on the ground other than to a KPD.

I think I'd rather a more rounded sub and use someone like Ah Chee down back if needed, he at least plays tall. I think Curnow is the main concern, as McKay still seems to be struggling with accuracy. If it was a choice of which one to let take a mark I'd let McKay get it.

I'm hopeful that our mids really stand up and limit their F50 entries anyway, I think that will make a big difference.

Does anyone know if my Priory 1 barcode for the prelim is a guaranteed ticket like it is for the GF? Also, can it be used by someone with an AFL membership so the two can be seated together or is that only for members of the same club? Hope that makes sense...

I think you will find when you book your tickets the membership of lowest value is your starting point. I doubt you can link those 2 together to get priority 1 for 2 tickets
