We are also a 4-5 goal better team at the gabba and our offence (2nd) is better than theirs (9th) while their defence (4th) is better than ours (6th).

We shouldn't be fearful or nervous - we are at home (where we not lost for 435 days - Round 17 2022) and we have won our last 3 finals at the gabba.

We should be starting as warm favourites and should win by 3-4 goals, plus we have had 3 tight wins in the last few games - since Melbourne we have learnt how to hold old and control a game.

Carlton could beat us - converting the betting odds Brisbane 1.37/Carlton 3.13 is 70/30 to the lions - if the game was played 100 times we would win 70 times.

Have to remember they’ve been lucky to win both their finals so far playing against a team with no forward structure, and the other, who if a goal umpire did their job, wouldn’t have even been there.

So yeah, show them the respect they deserve to make it this far, but also show some maturity and just take care of business as you should.

We have won 4 our of our last 5 games, won by 26 earlier this year in Melbourne and we are a 4-5 goal better side at the gabba.

They look pretty banged up while our list is fresh - hopefully we put on a display and do to them what Geelong did to us in 2022.
