For Collingwood im going

3. Swan (he deserves this 3 and I think the umps will notice a bit more)
2. Johnson (could almost have the 3)
1. Dawes (like everyone is saying its a raffle, Dawes looked pretty good)

Geezzzzz. Hard game for the adelaide one.

I'm going out on a limb here and gunna say

3. dangerfield?? Brought them back in the game in the 3rd and kicked a crucial goal in the last. I'm saying 3 with no real confidence.
2. Walker, Kicked 4. looked dangerous
1. Raffle, Burgoyne, rioli, Mitchel. Im goin Burgoyne 3 goals 23 pozzys and alot of them hard ball gets.

so

3. Dangerfield
2. Walker
1. Burgoyne

No love for Brent Reilly? Thought he stuck out; seemed to be in everything, tons of clearances and did more of the hard stuff which historically umpires have noticed.

Ready for a big year, boys, looking forward to seeing the perspectives.

Coll v Port
3. Johnson (Coll)
2. Swan (Coll)
1. Thomas (Port)

Adel v Haw
this is a really tough game to give votes on, a real raffle

3. Mitchell (Haw)
2. Dangerfield (Adel)
1. Tambling (Adel)
not many will put Tambling in, but his workrate and generally good use of the ball will catch the eye I reckon. this last vote is a really hard one, any of a dozen could pinch it.

Bris v Freo - another really tough one to vote on

3. Black (Bris) good all night and seems to poll a lot against Freo
2. Mundy (Freo) massive second half
1. Redden (Bris) great all night.

Moloney absolutely massacred that last quarter definitely going to get the 3 here.
Not sure about the 2 and 1 here probably going to be between Sylvia, O'keefe and Bolton and maybe Jamar as a bit of a roughie for a vote.

3- Moloney
2- O'Keefe
1_ Jack (not 100% on this still thinking about it)

Also with the bulldogs v Essendon game

3- Watson
2- Ryder
1-Stanton

I havent seen the Brisbane game, but for the Sydney game

3. Moloney.
2. O keefe.
1. Bolton.
Pretty confident on those

Essendon Game,

3. Watson (withought a doubt)
2. stanton
3. Hocking (lots of pozzys and hard ball gets, played really well)

Cox was everywhere tonight and ended up being the difference. Likely to get the 3 however he did spend a lot of time off the ground in the last quarter.

3. Cox
2. Nicoski
1. Swallow

Pederson would be some chance but risky as the umpires will have nfi who he is, he played a blinder though

3. Cox
2. Nicoski
1. Priddis/Embley/Thomas

Cox for the 3, he was everywhere.
Nicoski had something like 2.5 and had almost all of his touches in the forward half of the ground.
and i couldnt decide on the 1 but could go to anyone in Priddis, Embley, Thomas and maybe even Swallow.

Forgot about Thomas, good chance for the 1.

Hey guys, I don't have enough time to provide a count for every team but I want to contribute, I will provide a count for Richmond's 22 games this year and any other games I watch closely.

Round 1:
2.25 (3) - Murphy
2.25 (2) - Gibbs
1 (1) - Riewoldt
0.5 (0) - Judd

Syd v Melb
2.75(3) - Moloney
1.5 (2) - O' Keefe
1 (1) - Sylvia
0.75 (0) - J Bolton

NM v WC
3 (3) - Cox
2 (2) - Embley
0.75 (1) - Swallow
0.25 (0) - Nicoski

Cheers

Hey Guys

Was at the game Firday night and after the considering it over the weekend went with

3 = Bartel; Strong last quarter, kicked a GOTY contender and was involved in the Milburn kicking the winner.

2 = Hayes. Was brillant all night and had the three sewed up if the saints got over the line.

1 = Taylor. Shut down both Goddard and Riewoldt during the match. Took some good grabs and was clean out of defence.

Special mentions; Dal Santo (had the one vote in a Saints win)
; Corey, Wojo and Scarlett

Having watched every game now this is what I've gone with for Round 1:

Carlton v Richmond

3. Murphy
2. Judd
1. Gibbs

Riewoldt unlucky but Carlton dominated for three quarters without hitting the scoreboard. He and Kade Simpson are the only others who can get votes in this game imo.

Geelong v St Kilda

3. Bartel
2. Hayes
1. Enright/Dal Santo

Difficult game. Bartel and Hayes are pretty strong for the 3 and 2 respectively, but I'm leaning towards Dal Santo for the final vote just because of his superior polling history compared to Enright.

Adelaide v Hawthorn
3. Dangerfield
2. Mitchell
1. Rioli

Very tricky game to sort out... Dangerfield was the spark that helped them win the game, hopefully the umpires saw it that way. Mitchell had a heap of the ball, didn't necessarily have a huge impact though. I could be way off the mark but I thought Rioli was pretty important for Hawthorn all night. If the umps want to reward Adelaide for the win by giving them an extra vote, then Phil Davis, Reilly, Rutten and even Shaun McKernan could potentially poll 1. Not too confident on this one...

Collingwood v Port Adelaide

3. Johnson
2. Matt Thomas
1. Swan

Pretty confident here, with Pendlebury and Dawes the prime candidates for a vote. His side may have lost by 75 points but Thomas was fantastic I thought, and with 7 tackles and 3 goals is likely to have been noticed.

Brisbane v Fremantle
3. Sandilands
2. Black
1. Fyfe

Black has polled with a lot less than 27 touches before so should be good for the 2 here. Thought Fyfe was quite flashy and stood out. Could entertain Mundy and even Redden with 13 tackles for the 1.

Essendon v Bulldogs
3. Watson
2. Stanton
1. Ryder

Ryder may just get the nod of Hille for the last vote, thought he may just have been a touch flashier (despite Hille's massive hanger). Pretty comfortable with Watson and Stanton as the 3 & 2.

Melbourne v Sydney
3. Moloney
2. O'Keefe
1. Bolton

Bolton with the three goals scrapes in. This game may not be as clear-cut as I think but pretty happy with my choices all the same... Maybe Sylvia for the 1, he was important despite not getting a heap of ball.

West Coast v North

3. Cox
2. Thomas
1. Embley

Cox a standout. Lindsay Thomas only had 10 touches but kicked a couple of brilliant goals, so he may get the nod for 2. Priddis, Nicoski, Swallow and even Leigh Adams may jostle Embley out for the last vote.

Carl v Rich
3-Gibbs
2-Riewoldt
1-Murphy

Dont think Judd did enough to poll.

Geel v StK
3-Bartel
2-Hayes
1-Corey

Bartel and Hayes should both poll. Last vote is a toss up between a few, maybe Enright.

Coll v Port
3-Swan
2-Pendlebury
1-Johnson

Swan was everywhere in the 1st halve and with him kicking 3 goals he should get the 3 above pendles.

Adel v Haw
3-Dangerfield
2-Walker
1-Mitchell

Dangerfield helped set up the win in 2nd halve and should poll

Bris v Freo
3-Sandilands
2-Black
1-Mundy

Sandilands had a great game and good polling history should see him get the 3.

Ess v WBD
3-Watson
2-Hille
1-Ryder

I cant really see any other player polling except these 3. Watson gets the 3 because of his good polling history whereas Hill gets the 2 over Ryder because Ryder faded late whereas Hille lifted.

Syd v Melb
3-O Keefe
2-Moloney
1-Sylvia

O Keefe was everywhere in the last quarter when it counted. Should get him votes

WCE v North
3-Cox
2-Embley
1-Swallow

Cox easily gets the 3 here. Embley should poll, unsure about his polling history tho. i noticed Swallow having a good game for North.

Carlton V Rich
Murphy 3
Judd 2
Reiwoltd 1

Geelong V Saints
Bartel 3
Hayes 2
Taylor 1

Port V Collingwood
Swan 3
B Johnson 2
S Pendlebury1

Adel V Hawks
Dangerfield 3
Mitchell 2
Walker 1

Really hard to pick this dangerfield was missing the whole first half but a huge second half might get votes and mitchell was in it all night

Essendon V Dogs
J watson 3
Stanton 2
Hille 1

Melb V sydney
Moloney 3
O'Keefe 2
Couldnt pick a 3rd

Moloney and O'keefe toss up

West Coast V North
Cox 3(by a mile)
Swallow 2
Embley 1

Swallow embley toss up

Freo V Brissy
A Sandilands 3
Black 2
