I have him on 14 after round 18, ahead of Goddard 10, Montagna 10

I saw someone else say this, but it would not suprise me to see a massive upset in the geelong votes. Lookout for Kelly, Bartel the teachers pets who have been in and around the footy more without Ablett, had high CP and tackle counts. Selwood getting rubbed out early may hurt his vote count, but at round 18 it is very close. Value certainly with Bartel $26, Kelly $15. Might add them into a few multis to see if i can hit.

When Swan got 30+ touches and 2 or more goals last year he polled 5 out of a possible 9 votes. So goals + disposals aren't the only factor.
He achieved that 7 times this year.

What do people think of Wells chances of beating Swallow in team betting? Wells is more favored to win the brownlow over swallow but is behind in the team betting market. Statistically wells is very similar to judd of last year.

I rate it similarly to Priddis v Cox for WCE - Wells was rated highly externally as the year went on just like Cox, but the workman-like consistency of Priddis and Swallow should see both of them come out ahead IMO.

What do people think about taking team of medal winner - collingwood ($4.75), especially in comparison to backing pendles outright?($6ish everywhere now?)

If one of pendlebury or swan poll poor, the other has to be in with a red hot chance?

Swan did beat Pendles last year, didn't he? 24-21. I reckon Pendles will beat him this year though.

Ah yep right you are I totally missed him when looking at last years tally so have edited my original post.

Still confident Pendles beats Swan. Swan was extremely dominant last year and only just outpolled Pendles.

Pendlebury's form was even better this year whilst Swan's was on par with last year at best.

Wouldn't you be better off going for the Pendlebury/Murphy quinella at $23 on Sportsbet?

Just in case Murphy beats Pendlebury, that option gives you more security (IMO) and a better payout.

Only thing would be is if you expect someone like Goodes/Ablett/Swan/Boyd to finish second, but I doubt you would think that considering you think Murphy will outpoll Judd, so you obviously expect him to do exceptionally well.

Then I get to the TAB and they said I couldn't combine the bets in a multi, had to lay them sepratley. $570 pay out turned into $135 fml.

Who knows anything about live betting?

Are all markets still available throughout the night and the odds fluctuate, or is it just for outright winner??

Guys, here's the bets I've put on IAS bet.

Got a group of 8 players in a multi to top their respective teams:
Value (3):
Gray - $3.75, Pav - $2.25, Swan - $2.90

Favs (5):
Judd - $1.11, Selwood - $1.09, Swallow - $1.28, Priddis - $1.68, Boyd - $1.03

Betting 5 fold (every combination of 5 players, 56 total) at $3.00 a pop.
Outlay is $168.00

Spewing that Sportsbet opened theirs today.......

Happy betting
Don't take this the wrong way, but that is one of the worst bets I have seen.

That includes all doubles and trebles and so on doesn't it?

So your $3 bets on a 1.09 x 1.03 and 1.09 x 1.11 are not going to return you anything.

You may aswell have put the 168 on the 5 legger, as if one of them loses you will lose 90% of your money anyway, and are stopping yourself from collecting way more than what ever you are down to win atm.
