Gone cold on watson since the first 5 rounds or so. I don't think he'll poll as well as last year because of the whole drugs thing. Umps might be lookings to squeeze others ahead of him each game. His form has been inconsistant for the past 9 weeks too. Wouldn't want him at almost any odds now with this injury.

example if gaz barlow watson finished 1,2,3 but stevie j finished equal 2nd on votes it wouldnt effect the bet would it?

Good call. There's been a great spread across the whole league this year, in terms of great individual games. Sydney's will be especially tight and will be very interesting to see.

Haven't tallied my votes after round 16 yet, but looking at them so far, and looking at others, I'd say get on Pendlebury. Hitting some red hot form, has the X-factor that umps notice and is within reach of Gary as it is.

Hard to say with 7 rounds still to play, but there are a couple there. Jack at $4.50 is the obvious one. Since he went to second in the betting, Hannebery has quietened a little while Jack continues to go about his business week in week out. Coming off a solid 15 votes last year he may be worth a shout here. Chris Masten isn't even named in the Eagles betting, so the $9 for players not quoted looks alright. I have Priddis 4 votes ahead of him at the moment.

Hodge and Roughead look alright for Hawthorn too.
