I reckon it'll come down to the Essendon vs Doggies game for Bontempelli. Wright should get the 3, the rest is up in the air. Bontempelli was on track for BOG by a country mile in the 1st quarter but severely dropped off. Still a strong chance to get 2 as an umpire's pet.

The Brownlow has become more and more predictably visibility and stats-based, its ridiculous that role players do not get more recognition.

I prefer the AFL coaches award these days.

I gave up on the Brownlow years ago as an indicator of the best player. Though I enjoy the theatre
