DrVanNostrand I gave you a good version actually come to think of it on that disc I sent.

You certainly did, good sir. :thumbsu:

Savin' Up from the last gig really doesn't do it for me. It's a good song and I've seen him do it well before, but this version seems a touch undercooked. Still waiting for my fix of Spirit and Murder Inc.

Jack of All Trades was on the original setlist, Y U NO PLAY BRUCE?

Yeah this Savin' Up is the best one. Worth listening to the banter too.

.......

My late Swedish brother inlaw was a big fan of the Boss, we had many chats about his music, and he said the Boss had a great connection with his Swedish fans. He saw them about a dozen times in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. Unfortunately after he got sick in 1999, he never saw the Boss and band again in his last 8 years. My sister gave me all his CD's.

DrVanNostrand jpkennedy UpForGrabs Gasometer JuddyBuddy RussellEbertHandball Ford Fairlane paddy18 pjcrows alfy! Didaics Bulldog1954 - I may consider redoing another countdown, as in updating it with Wrecking Ball songs and reshuffling the order, if I did so, would you guys read it? I would obviously post it again in here. Only reason I ask is I cbf doing it all again if nobody is going to pay attention haha.

I would definitely read it. Maybe just do detailed run downs of the top 10, and the rest just list the songs. That might cut down on the writing and work.
I don't mind doing it all again (number is yet to be determined), but I am just trying to gauge what people's thoughts would be on such a matter.

My Lucky Day, This Hard Land, From Small Things, Pink Cadillac, Brilliant Disguise (!!!), Queen of the Supermarket...

And yet those ungrateful whingers on Greasy Lake continue to bitch and moan about setlists. How can they not realise Bruce varies his setlist 1000000x more than any other major international act? Most arena bands play the exact same set every night. Getting new tour songs this late in the game, as well as the others I've listed here, I just don't get how people can complain.

The crowd surf during Hungry Heart is back. :thumbsu:

I'd definitely read it. It's fun reading the stuff that you put up here...the passion you have for the great man really shines through, It should also be fun seeing others on this thread lobby for their favourites to be elevated higher up the order (eg. Walk Like a Man ;))

If this was the only show that I was attending, I dare say that I would walk out somewhat disappointed, especially so if I was armed with the knowledge that BTR and Darkness had been played in full at the previous 2 shows on the tour.

However, if i had tix for multiple gigs, I'd be stoked to hear and see a few of these more obscure tracks, although I would have no hesitation in belting the fan who held up the Queen of the Supermarket sign.

11. From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)(request)

I reckon with the big horn section this would have sounded great.

Not the Boss singing it but Clarence and Letterman's band belting it out around 1984.
