Last year Bruce promised he would be coming back to Oz at Sydney 2, 3 and Hanging Rock 2 that I definitely remember. he didn't say it would be 12 months but he said it wont be as long a wait as last time. He promised at HR 2 that he would go to Perth and thank the 5,000 to 10,000 people from Perth who travelled to his shows. He might have said something about coming back at the Brisbane 1 and Sydney 1 but I can't remember it.

He didn't say anything about when he would be back at the end of the 2 Adelaide shows. Has he said anything at the end of the Perth shows or Melbourne shows? ManWithNoName paddy18 UpForGrabs Gasometer ????

At the end of Adelaide1 and AAMI Park1 he said "We'll be back tomorrow night,,.." :D

Seriously though, I don't remember him saying anything at all in Adelaide except that he looked kind of sad when walked off stage on Wednesday night...he seemed to linger at the top of the stairs for a fair while before he walked off.

Can't see him coming back for a while though, which suits me just fine. I feel that we have been incredibly spoiled and getting to see him and his amazing band 9 times in less than one year has been beyond my wildest dreams (and way beyond my bank balance). Time to save some money and put in that new kitchen that I have been promising the wife for a couple of years.

Yep, was thinking the same...probably needs a new sit down studio album..and then go from there...could be 2-3 years ago.

It is actually rather depressing to love an artist this much, but mother time is catching up the biatch, so we should all feel blessed.

Word is that he is coming back to play my 50th Birthday in 2018.

No roll calls or queues for BF followers of this thread.

;)

I'll also be 50 in 2018. What time of the year will yours be? We may as well make a tour out of it and he can play at mine as well. I'll clean out the shed.

Ok, I would have seen you had it been the other side...security dude that side unnervingly stared out towards us all night...but that's what you get paid for!
I think that side you would have had either a guy with a beard or a bald bloke.

Ha ha, yeah some are more intense than others. I'm more casual, I like interacting with the people that are on the fence in front of me, especially during the breaks.

Brisbane one week from today!!!!!! Will be three shows in five days. Double sided sign: The Fever b/w Mary's Harry's Place.

Planning on getting the train into the Entertainment Centre at about 7am, getting there around 8:30am. This is plenty of time to get on the rail, right??

One of my bros bought the ticket to the second Melbourne 2013 concert for me for my 50th

Appears that Jake went home straight after Melb, if this is correct....

Last night (Monday at 7:45pm) Bill left this world and joined the throng of those redeemed by His blood. Trish said that she was thankful that God seemed to wait to take Bill until Jacob arrived from Australia. Thank you for your prayers for him. Please pray for family.

Sounds like Jake cut it fine and must have just made it.

I was slightly wrong it appears. Melbourne 2 wasn't for Clarence. It was for Jake.

Or Bill and Jake. Bruce would have known Bill well given he was involved in music.

REH, did you see the post below the post there, from Sunday?

All of his family are spending as much time as possible at the hospital: Trish, Bill Jr, Quincy, Christine, Jared, Charles (Clarence's son) except Jacob who is coming in from Australia tomorrow-Monday.

Yeah I saw it that's why I said he must have just made it. I did a quick calculation before I wrote my last post and figured he would have caught a direct flight to LA between 10am-12noon on Monday as I'm pretty sure that's the time you fly out of Sydney or Melbourne for the LA flights. Might be as late as 2pm. There is 18 hours difference between Phoenix and Melbourne but it would take 14 hours to fly to LA a couple of hours to clear customs and get a connecting flight and LA - Phoenix would be around an hour so whatever time he left Melbourne would be the approx time on Monday Phoenix time, that he arrived in Phoenix. Looks like he passed away at 7:45pm local time so he might have got 5-7 hours with him.

And we are off in Sydney tonight.

Bastard. Last year I made a sign in the 3 hours of lining up when I got in the pit and up close for Sydney 3, on a Friday night that said -
Friday on My Mind
Gets Me
Out In The Street

Because in The Promise doco he said when he wrote Out In The Street, he was thinking of Friday On My Mind

1. FRIDAY ON MY MIND
2. Out in the Street (Tour Prem?)
3. Cadillac Ranch
4. High Hopes
5. Just Like Fire Would

Bastard again - the full Darkness album. Geez I should have been in Sydney watching with a few mates I grew up with in SA but ended up in Sydney when there was no work in SA after the State Bank fuel injected Recession we Had to Have.

So its almost guaranteed that he will do an album show in Brisbane? Which one? Greeting? WIESS? The River? The Rising?

1. Friday on My Mind (The Easybeats cover) (Live premiere)
2. Out in the Street
3. Cadillac Ranch (Sign request)
4. High Hopes
5. Just Like Fire Would
6. Spirit in the Night
--------
Darkness on the Edge of Town Album
--------
7. Badlands
8. Adam Raised a Cain
9. Something in the Night
10. Candy's Room
11. Racing in the Street (Tour premiere)
12. The Promised Land
13. Factory
14. Streets of Fire
15. Prove It All Night
16. Darkness on the Edge of Town
