but Cotchin will most likely cop the Carazzo tag who i rate extremely highly and gibbs i believe will take him when he rests forward

I've been around. Mostly stuck in Judd threads I think. Not much to defend with this poll. Given his form at the back end of last year and the coaches mutterings preseason, Gibbs was expected to step into the midfield and step up as a player. Neither of these has happened, while Cotchin is nearing stardom for his side.
Cotchin getting better Gibbs getting worse.

gibbs has a ratten around his neck, but yeah, props to cotch, love his game. terrific player.
I did! Except on the first page I also said Cotchin will win the Brownlow this year, so him for 2012, but that both will be guns. Got 1/2 of being guns right, and Gibbs has years to prove me right, which he will.
I voted Gibbs because at the time I was the second person to do so and I felt like I was a unique snowflake.

As much as Gibbs hasn't lived up to the number one pick status, i would take Gibbs over Zahkarakis in a heartbeat.
I actually reckon Gibbs would benefit big time with a change of club. Happy for him to be running of the HBF at Punt Road.

Totally irellevant to the poll but i'd still take zaka, he's undercooked now so it's not a true indication of where he's at, but he still averages more touches than gibbs, and has kicked a similar amount of goals in like 10 less games. I'd take zaharakis overall, and because he fits our needs better

Not a chance. In an u18 carnival final with Vic Metro (not sure who they were playing) half a dozen AFL scouts went to the coach at quarter time and asked if Cotchin could be benched as he was destroying the game with total domination, they did after half time. Kruezer was also playing in that game with Cotch. I would guarantee no such thing would have take place with Gibbs even in his wildest imagination.

I remember when Gibbs was going to be better than Pendlebury, in fact it was virtually a non-contest that he would be. Things change.
