Luke Ryan and Jake Waterman will be forgotten as quickly as Nick Larkey and Tim English.

Couldn't see a thread on this yet - we have JHF, Butters and Houston all in the preliminary AA squad.

JHF should be a lock, hopefully one of the other two can squeeze in as well.

PORT ADELAIDE trio Zak Butters, Dan Houston and Jason Horne-Francis have been named in the All-Australian 44-player squad.

Butters and Houston were both in the final All-Australian team in 2023, while this is Horne-Francis’ first inclusion.

Houston should be in due the bump alone.

Probably already are tbh.

Think we’re really going to struggle to hold onto him. Absolutely loves Ken too.

Not necessarily.

Yes, Butters said he supported the dogs and admired Bont but that's a no brainer seeing as he lived there, played for darley in Ballarat. But he also stated years ago prior to being drafted he looked up to Robbie Gray too and funny enough it was Gray that scouted him. Add the fact he's wearing the number 9 too. Plus he admired carr, loves Kenny.

Yeah the dogs will come, no doubt there but I feel he'll be loyal and stick with Port. Only reason he'd leave IMO is if Port truly went down the toilet. He's close mates with Rozee too. That, or he'll sign extension for 3 years taking him to 2029 and he'll be 29 turning 30 and possibly go back then. Who knows.
