I would like him to play elsewhere besides wing- maybe a dashing half back in the Jason Gram mould?
You say that referring to Tsardakis, thats a role Marcus White played on a number of occassions in 2007 and did quite well. Where do you see his position this year? Are the Cannons best to develop him as a midfielder, maybe hes not got the pace to be 'dashing' enough off half back, but very strong when it comes to accumulating through run and link up play. Which to me has half back flank stamped all over him where he runs off and sets up play from that part of the ground and drives the team forward.

footyman if your talking about chris tsdarkis as a half back flanker i think your right he isn't the quickest bloke out but seems to time his runs to perfection so he is hitting the ball at great speed, the only thing that lets him down as being drafted as a half back flanker are his kicking skills, he's not a penetrating flat kick he tends to kick high balls that spin sideways which dos't help half forwards

I think marcus white was so good as a bottom ager at that position because his kicking out and comeing off half back was superb, which i think later in the year you will see him doing it playing in the midfield,i think he will play the role mitch farmer played last year. my best mates brother is good mates with him, he tells me he has put on 5 kilos so we should see a stronger side of him this year

I sorta was talking about both Tsardakis and White earlier on, but White was the one I was mainly talking about in my post. I think you are 100% accurate with what you say though about both players.

White at this point is more inside, has far better composure with the footy, and uses it a lot better than Tsardakis. White gets his ball a lot differently to Tsardakis. To me White has got plenty of good qualities to play on a half back flank - especially looking at where AFL is right now and how teams want skilled half backs who set the play up with their run. Whether White is quite explosive enough I guess that'll be seen this year. But like you said he'll probably get more time in the midfield.

Hopefully Tsardakis being in the Calder program all year will be able to improve areas of weakness in his game. Not chopping and changing between APS and TAC footy will help him overcome the difference in standard between the two competitions anyway. That must've taken some adapting.

That's all based on these guys from six months ago though, so it'll be interesting to see what happens through this year.

he told me he wouldnt mind having a run on the ball. im not to sure about the 5 kilos it is possible but i saw him and he doenst look that much bigger at all

Marcus White will play onball this year but I am not sure how he will go to be truthful. If he was to make it at a higher level he is going to have to be an in and under midfielder yet Tom German is much better equipped to play that role at the Cannons and perhaps beyond. It will be interesting to see if White can make the transition from backflank to midfield and get himself drafted like Douglas and Polkinghorne did before him.

Came very close to being drafted last year. Perhaps Cannons most draftable player behind McKernan and Trengove. Was a knock on his courage though I think the final series as a whole dispelled them. I would like him to play elsewhere besides wing- maybe a dashing half back in the Jason Gram mould?
Will not wear helmet this year.

Very interesting as he didn't get a screening invite last year IIRC.

Do you know which team(s) were close to picking him up last year?

dosn't matter how big he is, white may have put the weight on through the core and legs, but i know he has put the 5 kiloson and where abouts did u see him? , footy man i think u are very right about his explosiveness, he has something to prove in that area, needs to run with the football a lot more if he wants to see a draft chance, i don't think he will be a high possesion dfat prospect will have to be like a jason winderlich explosive and hurts when he has it

He was easily the faster player in the aps last year to my knowledge

I don't believe Aaron Kite had an invite either and he managed to get drafted interestingly.

freo were pretty high for Chris. They drafted Palmer and Hinkley who are a little similar in traits though a fair way ahead of tsdarkis. Collingwood also had a little think about him I understand. Adelaide were keen on Kite since u/16 championships. They were the only side who were going to draft Kite in 2007.

Bisetto - big kid with huge hands to match, his rucking skills dominated division 3 u17 last year before he was taken up to the ones where he truely deserved to play. he is 6"4-6"5 and still growing, he has a couple more years where he can refine his skills and hopefully get drafted. likely prospect for 2010 draft

Is he a good player? He goes to my school, quite a suprise to see him in the Calder Cannons.
