lol what catastrophe? Literally nothing has changed other than an article from Tom Morris.

Danny it would be quicker to name the players at the mighty Dees who don't want out at this stage. Very sad times.

BTW. Did you see viney after the game when asked if he'd re sign? Wasn't to convincing...

Yeah, unfortunately I think the old vin dog is off to be with his dad at Norf.

Curious - on what basis?

The weekend just gone is the first time we’ve lost this year after leading at three quarter time - 8 points, to a quality side in the Giants.

We’ve managed to turn deficits of 15 points against Melbourne and Sydney, into wins, in the last 7 weeks.

If you have evidence of us not delivering “under severe stress” I’d be open to hearing it.

That loss is indicative of the Fagan era.

Little slow on the response, but I appreciate the thought nonetheless.

At the time of posting, we had surrendered one three quarter time lead this year (and stolen two).

What was your evidence for a third of the players not delivering “under severe stress” in the final quarter?

You are currently a premiership calibre team, no?
Collingwood are missing De Goey, Mihocek & Mitchell and are effectively a slender chance for finals and you lose like that.

Lachie Neale is supposedly this all time great midfielder and yet, time and time again he goes missing in these crunch games.
Too many blokes waiting for others to lead.

The whole team shat their pants in the last 10 minutes.

I really wanted Brisbane to win too.

You made the comment prior to yesterday - what was the evidence?

As I said - facts were at the time we’d come from behind at three quarter time twice in the previous 7 weeks (15 points twice). And surrendered a three quarter time lead once (8 points). I suppose we get no credit for the former, but are crap due to the latter.

I’ll ignore the drive-by on Neale - I can tell when someone has a bone to pick.

Perhaps Cam is the new “Barometer”?

Pretty telling when commentators point out Bailey as having a disappointing season, not able to play close to his best.
Though he still had more of an impact than Raynor and got himself into more situations to influence the game.
Raynor is the new “Barometer”

haha embarassing. thought you'd be a bit sharper than this.

7 year contract Trac man is just trying to up his value for his 3035 contract, am I right Danny?

Shoutout to one of the best ruckman in the league, Tristan Xerri. Another guy that Brisbane should've taken.

You do understand why this reasoning is flawed, right?

Or… are you suggesting clubs rated Xerri in the mix for pick 1 at the time, and Brisbane were negligent in not taking him there?

I also don’t understand how we were supposed to take the 30-something players we “should’ve taken” with our solitary pick.

You could've taken any one of them. Yes, as you point out it's retrospective. So yes, at the time, I'm sure the pool of pick 1 options wasn't that many. But yes, retrospectively, and hypothetically, had you have picked up any of the other 20-30 players, you'd probably have an extra flag or 2.

It's strange because for someone who lauds big game players such as Dustin Martin, your positive reinforcement for Rayner as a player goes against the grain.

Cameron Rayner will always be a tantalizing prospect. Nothing more than that really. Think of Jake Stringer if you will.

Insulting to stringer tbh, at least he has an AA jumper and a few 40+ goal seasons.

Danster gets a lot wrong but he’s absolutely spot on in here about Rayner - guy is one of the worst pick 1s this century.
