After his 3rd BOG in the ratings today, Cam Rayner is now the 110th highest rated of all AFL players in 2024 who have played 10 or more matches. This puts him right on the fringe of top 6 players in an average team and is well in keeping with his 5th placed B & F finish in the Lions GF campaign year 2023. If Rayner moves into the top 100 we will have to start calling him Cam Ratener. 
Meanwhile Barely Avfritsch languishes back in approximately 180th place in the ratings after we remove players who have played under 10 matches. That places him around 10th rated player in an average team, basically confirming his finishes in recent Melbourne B & F counts. No wonder he is known as Barely Avfritsch, being the 10th best player in an average team is exactly that, barely average.

It's not logic. Fritsch kicked 6 in a granny. He stood up. Meanwhile Rayner was the worst player on the entire ground and was very lucky to not be subbed out of the granny. These are 2 facts you can't ignore.
Rayner has proven to be over 6 odd years to be the 34th best player of his draft. Rayner is the equivalent to a Daniel Turner at Melbourne. I'd do a straight swap and maybe chuck in a 3rd rounder. Not even joking.
Rayner as a midfielder? Failed
Rayner as a defender? failed
Rayner as a forward? failed.
Rayner is a 14-16 touch, 1 goal a game forward in a top 4 team that doesn't defend and is a pure downhill skier.
