It's a horrid place. I only use it in the off season for training reports and to see them implode. And, if you read deep enough, they truly believe they are the "heart" of the club and are a true representation of our fan base.

God help us.

I use both BF and DL just for a great spread of news, thought he MFCSS attitude is more rife there. I certainly wasn't immune to it last year, though I've tended to be more measured this year.

I'm going to come in here and go on a meltdown fest if you lot don't toughen up and get on with the task of unconditionally supporting your club.

Smarten yourselves up!

It would go lower if one our players did something outrageous. Beamer on the pi$$ while 'injured', in a car with Colin Sylvia going 150kmh on the wrong side of the road with some transvestite hookers in the back seat.

Has anyone ever felt this low about a football season after round 1 before? I can't think of a team ever having a start to the year that was as bad as this.

- No sponsors
- Club legend passed away
- Media wanting to sink the boot in for whatever reason possible
- Playing West Coast in Perth
- Playing garbage football

Have you forgotten the Liam Jurrah saga? The MFC has been pathetic in allowing a person charged with a serious violent offence to continue training and possibly playing, when any other reasonably employer would have suspended them for the duration of the criminal proceedings. If I was a parent of an MFC player and I would not want my son within cooee of this poor excuse for a professional sporting club!

There is something seriously rotten at the MFC!

You can't blame Melbourne for Jurrah's issues.

I hope they have some luck soon, The AFL needs the Dees.

As a member of both Geelong and Greater Western Sydney, I want you people to know that you're not alone.

All of us want a strong senior club, and I suspect that you'll emerge from this horror run stronger for having experienced it.

When iron emerges from the hottest fire, it does so as steel.

All the best. Give 'em hell this weekend.

I don't recall every having blamed anyone, let alone the MFC, for Jurrah's "issues", he is responsible for his own behaviour. However, I do believe that the MFC has not responded appropriately to the accusation that he is a violent thug!

Yes the Dees can get lower, it will be when the AFL recommences the rationalisation of Melbourne based teams. I've always thought that the Melbourne Kangaroos has a nice ring to it! I also like the idea of the Darwin Demons, but that is just a pipe dream...

fixed it for you.

Haha :thumbsu: seriously though 90% of success is how you respond to obstacles not what obstacles are thrown at you. I would think that the MFC now has a good enough board to respond appropriately and make the most of the opportunities. This will be good publicity for a new sponsor, and the MFC have the opportunity to get a better one.

Take this shit somewhere else.

Hardly anyone shares this view.

Check the bolded bit son. Standing by the bloke until he is proven anything but innocent. If the MFC did anything differently what do you think would happen considering the recent news stories engulfing the club? I mean could you be any more stupid?
