You don’t really mean that do you? Rohan is the worst finals footballer I have ever seen. I’ll admit I don’t usually pay too much attention to detail except overall team performance when watching footy but there’s no way in hell Blicavs is Rohan bad.

Yeah worse than Rohan. Rohan has played a couple of good ones. One of them was against us.

Henry stood up pretty well in the finals this year when everyone else crumbled.
That shows some captain-esque qualities to me.

Comes across as a reasonably switched on guy as well - mature for his age, interests outside of footy etc. That said he’s unlikely to get it until his late 20s - Stewart is next in line.

I agree, to late for Hawkins or Dangerfield both would have been deserving I'd throw Duncan in as a roughie if they wanted a short term caretaker.

In all seriousness, I think the captaincy is best determined by a lot of what isn't immediately visible during a game.

I would not have picked Harley in 2006, put it that way. But he was completely the correct choice.
