I'll pass it on, you're the worst professional sport outfit, in the world , this centuryDid you pass it on mate?
You're just disappointed you didn't get a free milkshake!
Why would they get lolled? Us Carlton fans are the coolest cats of them all.I'll pass it on, you're the worst professional sport outfit, in the world , this century
If this was the EPL you'd be in the conferences by now
Your kids get lolled at at school, EVERY day, year after year
You see , this is what you revert to when it's blatantly clear that you have been trumped. Minor premierships and games won - I wouldn't even have a clue how many Carlton have won I'm sure there are heaps but I would never use it as a guide for overall success against another club. That's why premierships are the measure to any clubs success. If that makes you feel better, sure.
I think most people will probably say Collingwood since theyāve won more minor premierships, played in more GFs, and won more overall games than Carlton.
The wobblers canāt help but look back - the anxiety of the impending finals flop is like looking into the sun.Ha Ha
Mckay consoling Curnow. Chin up mate, the umpires should have helped you out more and will make it up to you next year.
Adam is a massive Carlton supporter so doubt itIs he of any relation to the great Adam?
Any other Pie fans agreeing with any of this? Satisfied with sitting on top at the end of home and away? I don't blame you for having this mindset, after all seeing the Pies choke in finals every season must get exhausting.Where have you been all year. We were the side, with a difficult draw, who finished on top of the ladder. Far more meaningful than a premiership which is basically the side that gets lucky in September.
In 1990 we were not the best side in it but won the premiership. We got lucky. In 1970 we would have won 9 out of every 10 Grand finals against Carlton that year but had the 1 day when we were unlucky. Ditto 1972 with Richmond.
Many years ago Sunderland, a 3rd division side, defeated Liverpool to win the FA Cup. They got lucky on the 1 day of the year. In England, the real premiership is regarded as the side that finishes on top after the home and away.
Collingwood lead Carlton 20 to 17 on that stat. With Premierships, I often think of the song Peggy Lee made famous "Is that all there is?"
No we're not agreeing lolAny other Pie fans agreeing with any of this? Satisfied with sitting on top at the end of home and away? I don't blame you for having this mindset, after all seeing the Pies choke in finals every season must get exhausting.

Indeed.H&A - sans teams all playing each other the same numebr of times - meaningless Gil teh DIl 'fix' - turing.
What do you actually win for a 'minor' Premiership
You already an advantage playing all your home games at the MCG.Indeed.
If only we had have had the opportunity to play West Coast twice.
You played them last year twice and lost one of those games and it still did you no good.Indeed.
If only we had have had the opportunity to play West Coast twice.
With the exception of our home games that weren't played at the MCG...You already an advantage playing all your home games at the MCG.
We finished top 4 last year and had a decent crack at the flag. You played them last year twice and lost one of those games and it still did you no good.
Sorry , you played west coast once last year. How'd that go for ya ?We finished top 4 last year and had a decent crack at the flag.
Maybe next year the AFL should let Carlton play West Coast 6 times to give them a chance at finishing top 4?
By the way, we actually only played West Coast (and North) once last year. Same as this year. We earn our ladder position on merit.
Is this where I bring up wooden spoons? The grand finals mate. You've lost a quite a lot of them!
