Wasn't loading today for me on either firefox or ie. ****ing rubbish.

Last year it was slow but at least it worked.

Today I tried a billion times to get the ess stk game loaded simply for the SCORES and absolutely nothing happened each and every time.

I eventually got the live radio stream thing to work after much frustration. I hit the live radio button, and among all the radio station logos there was what looked like some glitched code saying "launch player"

Hitting that brought up a pop up, again with all the radio station logos that also didn't work, however there were html links to external radio sources down the bottom.

Hitting those launched the old faithful WMP, and from there had no problems

About as intuitive as the rosetta stone but there you go

My theory is they deliberately nobble the match centre in an attempt to push people into paid sub stuff like foxtell sports and also their lame paid mobile services
Also it is bigpond 'unmetered' so they slow it down, as many people accessing it are Telstra customers they would be getting heaps of free megabytes
Also if you are using firefox it doesnt work well- or at all ( why is this? FF is a much better browser than Microsofts crap offering ?)
Their agenda is not help us, but to gouge as much out of your wallet as possible

Slightly unrelated, but I woke up this morning...turned the radio on and heard Demetriou say that they can't take the live odds/gambling stuff off the website because it is controlled by Telstra.

HTML stats - quick to load, every stat there, no shite, no graphics which make the website slow.

It's a bit of karma how Demetriou complains around roadworks around Docklands...maybe the halfwits finally know how it feels when you have fools in charge who make changes to services which end up making the things worse.

The incompetent fools responsible for the AFL site need to be given the sack. HTML stats need to be re-instated for the next round. It can't be hard for the fools to do.

Some support for Mac would be nice. Bigpond TV won't work and you can't stream any of the radio broadcasts.

that will be the reason for the problems. remove it and all will be well.

but that wont happen.

even worse is the likely forced decision of champion data to remove their real time stats applet - was brilliant. but now its bitten the dust during the last week.

Im a telstra cable customer as well, the whole thing is a piece of crap, if you can't stream the radio there is a feedback button to click and have a whinge. I did that 2 weeks ago....*crickets chirping*

I hate the new website. They've ruined what used to be a really good site. And where is the HTML stats gone?? So frustrating.

The link you gave underdog doesn;t work anymore. Simply takes you to the putrid rubbish they've developed this year.

Last years was much better. It could open up as a seperate window and it never had any loading problems. The new one seems to take forever and sometimes never loads. I have ADSL 2+ so it certainly is not my broadband connection.

It also had a score worm and showed every score that was made and by which player. They have replaced this with a betting worm (what a joke). It had all the stats there as well as the leaders in different catorgories (contested marks, Tackles ect)

Same sponsor as last year so I can't see why they changed it. The social chat thing is pointless when 43% of the country has Facebook.

AFL, bring the old one back
